Casa JerezAna was built in 1890 in the historic centre of Jerez de la Frontera. It has five bedrooms, five bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, two dining-rooms, two living-rooms and a large, open air patio. The house is characterised by traditional Spanish building-materials and architecture; marble, tiles and beautifully detailed wood-work. Thick, whitewashed walls keep the heat out in the summer and conserves heat in the winter. CasaJerezAna also has three open fireplaces. The house was built by the ancestors of Raphael Rivero, who played an important role in developing Jerez de la Frontera as the sherry-capitol of the world.

In addition to Casa JerezAna we can offer you a reasonably priced apartment with three bedrooms (2 + 2+ 1 bed), kitchen, one bathroom and a living-room. Totally refurbished in 2002. In 2005 we built another apartment, Apartemento de la Bodega. It has one bedroom with two beds, kitchen, bathroom and living-room, and direct access to the patio of the house. Notes to the rental rates

• High Season: May 2 to September 30. The rate for high season is 45 Euro per room per night. Price is negotiable depending on length of stay and number of people. During October (Feria del Otoño) the price per room is 48 Euro.
  
• Low season: November 1 to May 1. The rate for low season is 40 Euro per room per night. Price is negotiable based on length of stay and number of people.
  
• Price for Piso MyM is between 65 and 75 Euro for the whole apartment per night. Price, which is negotiable, depends on number of people. Price for Apartmento de la Bodega is 35 Euro per night. Price is negotiable depending on length of stay.

Jerez de la Frontera is famous for many things. It is the sherry-town of the world, with all the famous bodegas, its is the centre for the original flamenco in Andalucia and it is the home to the royal school of equestrian riding. It is a city with a very secure and laid-back atmosphere, where you can experience the real Spanish life, polite, cultured, tradition-loving, hospitable, free of the hectic tourism. The city has an abundance of restaurants and tapas bars, but very few night-clubs. Casa Jrezana is situated in the middle of the historic centre, where all service facilities are within walking distance.

Experience Andalucia

Living in Casa JerezAna you can experience Andalucia on comfortable day-trips; to cities like Sevilla, Granada, Ronda (the cradle of bull-fighting), El puerto del Santa Maria (from where Colombus left for America in 1492), Cadiz (Europes oldest city), San Lucar De Barrameda (fishingtown of Andalucia, with fantastic fish- and seafood-restaurants), Gibraltar, Zahara, Marbella and Malaga. To name a few. Pluss all the white villages (Pueblo Blancos) like Vejer de la Frontera and Arcos de la Frontera. From Jerez de la Frontera you can travel by car, train or a wide variety of buss-lines.

Many activities to fill your day

Andalucia has a lot to offer. Swimming from the beaches along Costa de la Luz, horseback-riding, flamenco, the royal school for equestrian horse riding with it's strong traditions, where they have bred the famous Andalucian horse. In Andalucia you also find a large number of modern golf-courses. One is situated in Jerez de la Frontera, at Montecastillo, adjacent to the famous racetrack. To day the racetrack is used for world championship road-racing in May every year. In Jerez you find public pools, and just outside an Aqua-land with Casino. And in the evening you can simply lean back and enjoy a cold Fino or a beer with some good tapas in one of the many tapas-bars in Jerez de la Frontera.

Golf Information:

Just outside Jerez de la Frontera, adjacent to Hotel Montecastillo, you find one of the most fascinating golf-courses in Andalusia, and within 30 minutes drive you have another five exciting golf courses.
