This spacious villa was built in 1997 on a spectacular site just 1Km from San Pablo de Buceite, halfway between Gibraltar and Ronda. The property overlooks the lush Guadiaro valley with stunning views to the mountains beyond. Sotogrande and its beaches are 30 minutes away and the ancient town of Ronda just over one hour's drive. Gibraltar airport is 45 minutes and Malaga 1hour 30 min. The property is very private and is situated in its own 6 acres with about half an acre of fenced garden. The oval swimming pool (8m x 4m) is right beside the terrace.

San Pablo was built only a hundred years ago and has an excellent selection of shops and bars, though the night-life is distinctly limited! It has lovely wide streets with lots of easy parking and the whole village is surrounded by orange groves. An excellent base from which to enjoy walking, riding, swimming, birdwatching, wild flowers, sightseeing or just relaxing with a long cold drink! A perfect place for a honeymoon.

Los Borreguitos is a ten minute walk from San Pablo which has all essential shops, two restaurants and several bars. San Pablo lies midway between the ancient Moorish villages of Gaucin and Jimena de la Frontera, 53km south of Ronda and 50 km north of Gibraltar.

This property is entirely private and not overlooked in any way, apart from eagles flying overhead.

Both bedrooms have full en-suite facilities and fitted cupboards. The living room is 11m x 7m (36ft x 23ft) with large picture windows overlooking the valley to the mountains beyond. There is an efficient Jotul wood burner and logs for the winter. The sitting room has a radio, flat screen TV and DVD player. The kitchen area is at the north end and has a granite covered peninsular unit with dishwasher and fridge underneath. Separate utility room with clothes washer and second fridge. Doors lead from the sitting room on to the sun patio and shade terrace. There are air-conditioning units in both bedrooms and the living room.

Stunning surroundings, beautiful, impeccably clean and furnished in every respect to a high standard.'

Here for the third time, coming again for two weeks next year.

Arrived at Los Borreguitos in much need of peace and relaxation. We could not have found a more wonderful place! We were speechless - the villa, the pool and those views!

We too feel that Los B. met all expectations. We have had a wonderful time, don't want to leave and can't wait to return!

First Class Villa in Lovely Countryside!

Stayed at Los Borreguitos for 1 week and only wished we could have stayed longer! It is in a delightful spot and everything the owner has put in the description is totally accurate so just read it for a genuine review of teh facilities! It is wonderful if you want a clean break from work and a chance to relax for loads of R&R! My advice would be not to take a laptop so you do really get away from it all!

Sue Jacoby (The owner) was extremely friendly and helpful. Having hired villas across Europe I must admit she was one of the best hosts we have ever had and the small touches made all the difference, e.g loads of spare loos rolls, supplies of kitchen towels, waste bags, etc.

Having hired many villas throughout Europe, we have always said we would never return to the same villa more than once. We think that this time we may make a big exception!

Thanks Sue for a truly wonderful time!

"Los Borreguitos is the villa with the WoW factor! It's spacious, extremely comfortable and very well equipped. We loved our week there, accompanied by the nesting swallows and occasional visiting eagle. The views are stunning, the pool inviting, and Sue has provided everything you could possibly need for a fabulous holiday (including the weather in our case). We just hope we can go back again one day. Liz & Tina, Dorchester"

Perfect getaway

Property was, as previous reviewers have said, clean, private, very well-equipped (particularly if you cook). Information folder/books were good. Central for touring and good for doing absolutely nothing! Weather at this time variable, but used pool every day. Evenings with geckos entertaining. Dolores was friendly. Road to Ronda stunning. Note to drivers: track completely flat but a few potholes.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Sightseeing, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway
