Finca Zarita was completed in 2003 and offers an unusually high standard of accommodation. It is approached by its own drive and is entirely private. The accommodation offers two large en-suite bedrooms, one with a double bed and bath and the other with three single beds and a shower. Both have large fitted cupboards. The living room is 10m x 7m with a wood-burner at one end, satellite TV, DVD player, telephone & broadband connection. A large picture window overlooks the valley. The well equipped kitchen area is on the west side and includes dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric oven, gas hob, microwave and electric coffee machine. The utility room is off the living room and has a washing machine, sink, additional WC. French windows lead from the living room on to both the east and south facing terraces. The pool, 8m x 4m is right beside the terrace and there is about half an acre of garden which includes an area shaded by ancient olive trees. There is a brick built BBQ.

Finca Zarita is 1.5km from San Pablo de Buceite, halfway between the 'white villages' of Jimena de la Frontera and Gaucin and within easy reach of Sotogrande and Ronda. San Pablo adjoins the Parque Natural de los Alcornocales, the largest cork oak forest in Europe, which has excellent walking tracks with spectacular views. Lying directly under the migration route, masses of birds of prey are often seen from the garden in spring and autumn. The area is famous for its spring flowers. The nearest beach is at Sotogrande, a 30 minute drive.

Bookings go from Friday to Friday. Prices include all linen and towels except swimming towels, gas, water, electricity*, weekly change of bedlinen, cleaning service before arrival and after departure, general cleaning materials.

The villa lives up to its promise - having done a number of villa holidays we think this is in the top rank. Perfect for relaxation plus enough interesting places to visit. Could easily stay another week without getting bored Mike and Barbara, September 2004.

Finca Zarita - you've been a great place to stay. What a view from the breakfast table! We loved Ronda, travelling by train from Jimena. Whalewatching from Tarifa was fab. We had a great day at Bolonia beach - look out for Roman Ruins.... In all a fantastic couple of weeks. David, Wendy, Joseph (7), Louis (3) August 2004.

Finca Zarita is outstanding and has all the comforts of home. Went across to Tangiers for one day - amazing. A couple of days at two beaches, Bolonia and Tarifa, both with excellent white sand and a day at the Water Park at Algeciras which was great for both adults and children.

Perfect getaway!

Finca Zarita is the perfect quiet, away from it all villa.

If you're looking for relaxation, fantastic views, privacy in the Andalucian hills, then this is the place for you.

Its about a 90 minute drive from Malaga airport, but the directions provided are excellent and its very straight forward to get to.

The Villa itself is on its on dirt road with a private drive about 1.5Kms from the village, about a 2 minute drive or a 20 minute walk.

The village itself has several restaurants, all pretty good, but the Station restaurant is exceptionally good.

We spent the week doing nothing but lie round the pool, relax, read books etc., and the villa is perfect for that.

However, if you're looking to do and see more then there are plenty of things do, if you're willing to drive.

For us, the weather was too good to drive, so chilling out was the order of the day and night, and this is a great place to do that.

If you book it, you won't regret it!

Die Angaben im Online-Inserat waren korrekt. Das Ferien-
haus war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Vermieterin war
sehr herzlich, gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir können
das Ferienhaus allen Ruhesuchenden empfehlen, die einen
Urlaub abseits des Massentourismus suchen.
