Situated just 6 km from the stunning beaches of the “Costa de la Luz” and 5 km from the beautiful village of Vejer de la Frontera, the old romantic style farmhouse of Cortijo del Cruce is off the beaten track,on the edge of a national park. Built according to time-old Andalusian traditions; white-washed walls, marble and antique brick floors and antique windows and shutters. The house is divided into two self-contained wings which can be rented together or separately ,which share all outdoor facilities. The house is run on solar power. A central courtyard, hand-built and made from natural brick is full of lavender and bougainvillea. The south-facing terrace is surrounded by olive trees, cactus, eucalyptus and wild bushes making it totally secluded. Stone steps lead up to the roof with far reaching views of pine forest and the Atlantic ocean. A shaded peaceful pagoda . Additional private separate areas for dining,sunbathing and relaxing .There is also a communal Arabic style pool.

The size of the house makes it ideal for a large family holiday or for a group of friends. If you choose to rent the whole house, you have 5 double bedrooms, each with their own character and atmosphere. All the bedrooms are large enough to accommodate at least one extra single bed or cot and these can be provided on request. There are 3 bathrooms in the house, each with a large open shower, toilet and sink. The open-plan living area has a central fireplace, marble floors and comfortable sofas. Large columns and Moorish arches lead to the country style, fully equipped kitchen. There is a second, smaller kitchen in the East Wing.

• Rates are based on 10 people sharing. Extra guests - 50€ per person per week. Rates include weekly fast cleaning and final cleaning costs. Linen and towels are provided with no extra charge.
  
• Available for rental 2-12 persons,contact us for prices.We offer long term rental discounts for more than 2 weeks, except in high season. Also last minute discounts 15% off rent 2 weeks before arrival.

Due to the unspoilt rural location, Cortijo del Cruce is run on a solar energy system with a generator for extra power. There is no phone line, but mobiles tend to work well. The last 3-4 km of the road to the house is not tarmacked and can be bumpy. For those guests wishing to bring their dog, there is a secure 300m² pen for them if you wish to use it.

Deposit

A deposit of 25% will secure your booking. The remainder of your booking fee should be paid 1 month prior to arrival. We require a 300€ security deposit to be exchanged for the keys upon arrival against damages and breakages. This is a refundable deposit.
