The property is situated between the charming old town of Estepona and the lovely Puerto de La Duquesa, both only about 4 miles away. Cosmopolition Marbella (great for shopping) and the dazzling Puerto Banus (great for people watching) are only 15/20 minutes away and the lively resorts of Fuengerola and Torrelmolinos are within easy reach by car, bus or taxi. Malaga aiport is only a 45 minutes drive. Other airports include Gibraltar(30 minutes) and Jerez (75 minutes). Gibraltar and its attractions, are a 30 minute drive away, dolphin safari and boat trips can be booked there. The fast ferry to Morrocco which goes from Algeciras is only a 40 minute drive from the apartment. There are serveral golf couses nearby, the closest being Estopona and Duquesa. The famous Valderama and San Rouge courses are only a 15 drive minutes away. The beautiful whitewashed village of Caseras is a 15 minute drive and the ancient town of Ronda, with it`s breathtaking views a futher 45 minutes.

Country Club

The apartment is situated on the brand new Costa Galera complex. The site consists of several blocks of apartments and townhouses in beautiful gardens including several swimming pools. At the heart of the complex is the stunning Albayt country club which includes a restaurant and bar but the jewel in the crown has to be the spa and beauty facilities. Here you can indulge yourself (at a fee unfortunately) in the indoor heated swimming pool, Turkish bath, Sauna, various treatment showers with hot and cold jets and essential oils. Hydraulic beds for massage, Jacuzzi, massage rooms and all beauty treatments etc. Also on site is the practice golf area where you can fine tune your swing for the numerous courses in the area, and a golf shop with all the latest equipment. A tennis court is also sited at the country club. Spa & indoor pool is only open to persons over 16 years of age

Attractions

They are several attractions close by to interest the whole family. Selwo safari park in Estepona with its animals roaming semi-wild is a great day out as is the zoo in Fuengirola. There are two water parks close by, one in Mijas Costa and the other in Torremolinos. A great day out is a visit to Gibraltar, (don`t forget your passport) where you can take a tour of the rock and have close contact with the apes. Further afield you can also take a day trip to Morocco on the fast ferry from Algercias. Also in the area are several beautiful villages towns and cites . These include Casares , Ronda, Mijas, Selville and Granada.

Golf Courses

Costa del Sol is not Known as Costa del Golf without good reason. There are at least 30 courses along the coastline. Closest to our apartment are Estepona , Duquesa and the fantastic new El Cortein, all within a 5 minute drive and reasonably priced. Valderrama(host to the 1997 Ryder cup) is only 15 minutes away as is San Roque, Marbella, Atalaya, El Paraiso and Sontogrande. A set of Callaway clubs are available if required.
