This spacious fully airconditioned 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom ground floor garden apartment is situated on the Pelikan Park urbanization in the popular are of Benavista. The urbanization is securely gated and benefits from mature gardens and its own communal swimming pool. There are lifts accessing every floor. The apartment has a sunny, private terrace, which benefits from afternoon sun. It is equipped with 2 sun loungers 4 chairs, a large table and BBQ and leads straight down to the communal pool making it ideally situated for families. The apartment is located within easy walking distance to shops (Including supermarkets, newsagents and banks), bars and a large, varied choice of restaurants. There are many good local beaches. Puerto Banus with its famous yacht harbour is only 10 minutes drive away whilst Marbella and Estepona are 15 Minutes drive. For those who do not wish to drvie there is an excellent bus service going either way along the coast road.

Nearest Airport : Malaga at 40 Miles

For the sporty types the Benavista bowling club is situated 400m away, the Bel Air tennis club 3 km away. El Paraiso golf club is situated 2 km away and the nearest of a number of high quality golf courses in the area.

For the kids Selwo wildlife park is situated 5 km down the coast, only a 10 minute drive away with horse riding situated close by. Parque Aquatico (The local water park). Tivoli World, Selwo Marina and Fuengirola Zoo are all within a 30 minute drive to the apartment. Excursions can be taken to Gibraltar (For rock, monkey or dolphin tours). Morocco and the local white Spanish villages of Caceresm Istan and Ronda (With its breathtaking views). The nearest airport is at Malaga, 70 km away. We can advise on car rental or arrange a taxi if required.

Great place for holiday (especially with kids)

we really enjoyed the stay in this great appartment. everything available and very well equipped. heating worked wonderfully (we needed it in the evenings) and very close to supermarket and restaurants. the beach, however, was a disappointment, very small and quite dirty. the appartment is close to the highway, but you cannot hear it. many houses everywhere, but this is typically for costa del sol.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Our trip to San Pedro

We stayed this this apartment for a week at the end of March 08. really enjoyed our stay. Aparment was very clean and had all facilities as described. Weather was warm so we enjoyed the pool every day and it was very quiet. There were local shops and restrants nearby by next to a busy main road. Beach within walking distance via foot bridge. All in all a great holiday is to travel to other parts via main coast road.
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Fabulous holiday had by all, thanks!

Apartment super, very comfortable, well equipped, patio in the afternoon hot hot hot! Lovely pool, cleaned every morning!

Good restaurants (although cater for the English a bit too much - missing traditional Spanish fayre, but Tiffany's do hold a paella night on Fridays!), bank, chemist, supermarkets on your doorstep - everything you need if you don't want to drive.

Beautiful unspoilt beach across the road, bit rough on the feet at the sea edge, but fantastic swimming and great waves for the kids!

If driving, Puerto Banus is a must - fab market on a Saturday, and great nightlife. Cable ski at San Pedro for the kids, very reasonable too - you only pay for the laps you complete - not allowed to take your own food and drink in though, but the cafe serves a good burger and chips for 5euros! Estapona well worth a visit too. And of course Marbella! These are all about a 10/15 min drive from the apartment.

All in all, had a great holiday and cannot fault the apartment or it's location. Would definitely recommend to others.
