    Price includes all electricity used. There are no meters.
    Price includes full & unlimited access to the leisure centre.

    30% deposit on booking.
    Balance due 8 weeks before holiday.
    A £100.00 'damage deposit' is charged, which is fully refunded if the apartment is left in good order.
  • Payments normally by cheque, or direct bank to bank transfer. PAY PAL accepted, but with a 3% surcharge (that's less than they charge me !)
  • In the event of a holiday needing to be cancelled, I ask to be advised as soon as possible, whereupon I will use my best endeavours to re-let. If I can re-let, I will return your deposit, less any expenses incurred for additional advertising etc. I strongly advise that cancellation insurance is taken out.

  • The almost decadent use of the highest quality Travertino Marble on floors, walls and surfaces in both bathrooms enhance their clean, crisp, and elegant design, complemented by frosted-glass privacy screens and bidet in both bathrooms. The main bathroom boasts of a hydro-massage shower in a perfectly-matching marble cubicle, additional rinsing shower over jacuzzi bath, and “his & hers” wash-basins. Ventilated teak cupboards offer ample amounts of storage space, whilst the thermostatically-controlled underfloor heating makes it a pleasure to use both of these bathrooms at all times of the year, and ensures quick drying of towels ! The additional deluxe features such as vast electrically heated mirrors ( which never steam-up ! ), sunken halogen lighting, and ceiling speakers for the high-quality sound system, ensure that, unfortunately, there’ll be no rushing the ladies out of these bathrooms!

  • Europe's finest microclimate played a leading role in the design of this master bedroom, which features full-length & full-width opening windows (utilising privacy glass) which overlook our extensive terrace, then our private lawned area, then the pools & gardens, and the sea beyond all that. The view over the sea from the double bed is just delightful ! Watch the fishermen at work in their boats as you have your first coffee of the day in bed ! Large ventilated wardrobes provide more than ample storage space, and are fully fitted with drawers, shoe-racks, clothes-hangers, and a security safe. All beds feature storage below, hopefully big enough for your cases. A brilliantly designed sofa-bed in the spacious lounge converts, at a single pull of a strap (and without having to remove any of it's cushions ! ), into a top quality super-king-size bed, with sheets already fitted. Pillows & blanket are stored in an inbuilt compartment. This apartment sleeps 6 in total comfort.

Notes: Surprisingly at first, the Siemens dishwasher, washing machine, & tumble-dryer are nowhere to be seen in the marbled kitchen; only the stainless-steel or glass doors of the fridge, freezer, microwave & cooker are visible, all the rest hidden behind beautifully sculptured mahogany cupboard doors & granite worktops. The kitchen is conveniently situated adjacent to the dining area, with feature marble serving-hatch between. A top-of the range hi-fi system, feeding music throughout the apartment (even onto the terrace), Sony DVD, & 42 inch Sony plasma television complete the picture. Internet access is available at reception. Alternatively Internet access (1 megabyte) can be provided in the apartment at a small extra charge. Telephone available on application. The garage, apartment, gardens and pool areas are all accessible by lifts & ramps & wide walkways suitable for wheel-chair use. There is an hydraulically operated chair-lift for easy access into the inside heated pool.

For the security conscious, we have a video & audio entry system, magnetic key-cards, underground car park (with remote-controlled gates) with lift from it, and a safety deposit box in master bedroom. Candle-lit dinners on the terrace...: The vast sliding glass doors to both the lounge and master bedroom lead onto the extensive terrace with private manicured lawned area in front, onto which the Sun shines all Morning, and until well into the afternoon. There's a dining table, 6 comfortable chairs (2 of which recline), and 2 loungers on the terrace; The perfect place for alfresco breakfasts in the morning; The perfect place to “spread yourselves out” during the day; The perfect place for a romantic candle-lit dinner in the evening ‘till late. The large area provided by the terrace and our private lawn can be rendered 'child-friendly' by the easy erection of the provided trellises to cover the openings in the front garden wall, and a gate to guard the steps down to pool-side. Our very young guests find the unique water features just down those steps, such as the meandering canals and underwater jacuzzi deck-chairs, a delight to play in. Shade can be provided by our thatched cabanas when required !

Five-star facilities...: My guests have full & free access to MAR AZUL's own leisure club comprising heated indoor pool, fully-equipped gym, spa, jacuzzi, sauna, solarium, steam-rooms, & thermal baths. There is a treatment centre for sporting injuries offering massage, osteopathy, reflexology, chiropractics & acupuncture etc, and a beauty salon offering cellulite reduction, body peels, mud & seaweed wraps etc. MAR AZUL has it's own cafe bar & pool bar (open peak times) offering high quality food at very reasonable prices. Next door to MAR AZUL is the world-famous KEMPINSKI RESORT HOTEL, providing 5* facilities including pool-side restaurants & bars. And just beyond that is the exotic 'Laguna village', a unique concept of bars, cafes, restaurants, shops & swimming pools RIGHT ON THE BEACH ! There is a cheerful beach-bar just beyond 'Laguna Village', providing good-value food & regular live music. There are two tennis clubs within a 15 min. drive. Your apartment is stunning and fitted out to the highest of standards. We had a brilliant holiday with some lasting memories and we have visited some lovely places. We used the leisure club a few times, my husband in the gym and myself and the girls used the pool. I must say that it was one of the nicest places I've stayed in. The pool was definitely the nicest I have ever swam in.

We have just returned from a 4 week holiday at the beautiful Mar Azul resort and it is the best family holiday we have ever had. Brian's apartment is amazing, so well equipped and very luxurious and for us great being on the ground floor, having two boys aged 7 and 8 we had very easy access to the pool. The staff at the Mar Azul were very friendly and helpful and it was comforting to have two lifeguards by the pool all day. A short walk down the beach there is a very good beach bar where the sun-beds were very good value and the food excellent, however we spent a lot of time round the fantastic swimming pool where the children played for hours on end, extremely relaxing for us! We hired a car for the holiday and did lots of exploring and had some fabulous meals out in Estepona and Benhavis. My husband also had a few rounds of golf and found some excellent golf courses close by which were very good value for money. We have already enquired about going back to the Mar Azul next year and would highly recommend this beautiful apartment.

I stayed at Mar Azul in July 2008. I was very impressed with the apartment which was exactly as it was described, it was very luxurious had good sized bedrooms and bathrooms all of which were exactly as described on this site. The complex was also great, with a good sized pool, and views to the sea from the infinity pool. The owner Brian was very thorough and absolutely everything he describes in his comprehensive rental booklet was very helpful and true. I would definately recommend this apartment and hope to go back again next year!

This is a fantastic getaway-we are a family of 5 with 3 kids aged 12, 10 and 5. We had lazy days by the pool, great walks on the beach, easy meals on the grass porch, beautiful sunsets and fantastic meals. This condo is perfect, top of the line, well cared for, spacious, and the owner goes out of his way to make sure you can get right to your vacation and have all the info you need to avoid hassles. The pools are a series ofshallow to deep-perfect for little kids-the view of the Mediterranean is out of this world and the nearby town is quiet, quaint and non-touristic. This is NOT Marbella-thank goodness-this is old style Spanish village with all the things you need for a perfect week. It would be great to have a car if you come for day trips to Ronda and other sites-without a car you may feel a bit pinned down for food options. Next door is a fancy resort that can't even compare-and is tremendously over-priced-making you realize just how great this place is-quiet, chill and perfecty maintained. Perfect for families. We would love to go back- recommend completely!

Just returned from Mar Azul and what a lovely apartment and complex. The information and photos provided on the website are very accurate and the instructions and advice regarding the property which we received before we even arrived, was the most comprehensive I have ever seen. There is also loads more information on the surrounding area in the apartment once you arrive. Brian - I think you have thought of everything!

The apartment is exceptionally well equipped and in first class condition. It was immaculately clean when we arrived and was cleaned again at the end of the first week with bedding and towels changed.

The complex is beautiful and very well maintained. The pool and surrounding garden area was constantly being cleaned and is very well maintained. The gym is well equipped and again very clean and tidy. It was never busy either.

The addition of the low fencing around the apartment's garden and the stair gate at the top of the steps down to the pool area was a great comfort as we had a toddler, and it was sufficient to keep her secure & give us piece of mind.

Apparently the complex was the busiest it had been this year and there was a slight issue some days with people reserving sunbeds all day and not using them for most of the time. It did not effect us as we were always out early at the pool so always got beds, but the management did step in and removed the offending towels, and then provided a further 15 sunbeds to alleviate the problem. Its that sort of attention to detail that lifts the Mar Azul above all other resorts we have stayed in.

The beach was a bit stoney for our tastes so we did not use it, but to be honest we prefer the pool anyway so that was not an issue. And the main beach in Estepona is lovely for those who like the sand!

We had a hire car and I felt this was pretty essential as there were no supermarkets within walking distance and we wished to self cater quite a bit so went to the big Carrefour supermarket in Estepona several times. Its only a 5 or 6 minute drive but too far to walk in the heat. But I am sure there are taxis available for those who do not drive.

Estepona town has lots of good restaurants and bars. The sea front has lots of activities for kids. The Port area and the old town should also be explored.

All in all I would recommend this property to everyone.
