Traditional Andalucia country home with swimming pool and superb views

Finca del Rio is a traditional style country home. and is a true gem!! The perfect summer holiday rental for families or groups of friends. Beamed ceilings and terracotta floors are the main theme of this delightful property, stunningly furnished and equipped to the highest standard. Finca del Rio derives its name from the fact that it lies alongside a wonderful ravine which has water running most of the year. The wild flowers in Springtime are spectacular. The views from the pool area and covered terraces are beautiful. The main entrance opens onto a large open plan living/dining room and an 'open plan kitchen area. Fully equipped, one will want for nothing!! There are four bedrooms (two doubles and two twins) and two fully fitted bathrooms (both with a hydro-massage bath!!). All fixtures and fittings are made by a local carpenter and the property is filled with character!

The hotel is located just a couple of minutes drive away from the house. you will have all the privacy of a villa holiday and the back up and services of a first class hotel whilst on your holiday. The hotel has a superb restaurant and facilities ranging from horse riding to tennis ( coaching available ) Masseurs, who will come to your villa, so you can enjoy massage treatments in the privacy of you villa or poolside ! as you prefer. The hotel has a sauna, jacuzzi ans fitness room all at your disposal. Your own dedicated villa manger will be on hand throughout your stay to assist in anyway. During summer the hotel has regular poolside evening barbeques, which are always popular with villa guests.

We have stayed at Finca de Rio for our last 2 summer holidays and cannot recommend it or the Hotel La Posada del Torcal staff highly enough ! The house is beautifully furnished and equipped. It is totally private and very quiet, views to die for. The hotel provides us with fantastic takeaway paella - great excuse not to cook ! Jose the villa manager is great, nothing too much trouble for him and he always has great ideas for entertaining the kids - this year we took them to a nearby wolf park, which they adored. Can't wait for 2007 and our next visit. The Millward family - Worcs.
