Flexible accommodation for any size group from a couple up to 20, B&B available

Rancho del Ingles has much to offer. The original farmhouse is over a century old while the rest of the houses have evolved over the last 25 years.

The Main House is spacious, verging on grand, and accommodates 6-8 people. A few metres away is the original farmhouse which has been converted into 3 double bedrooms, and three annexes each with twin beds and all with ensuite showers. A huge independent studio has been used for weddings, courses and retreats at additional cost. Please enquire.

The property is secluded but not isolated with many terraces set within spacious grounds of orange, lemon and avocado groves, woods, a stream and mature shrubs. The pool (with shallow end) is raised making it safer for toddlers. People love the space and often prefer to stay by the pool than explore Andalucia and the Costa del Sol.

This is a very impressive house which has been built with imagination over the last 20 years. Few people guess that it is not an original building as it is home to many interesting and antique features. There is a massive reception room with high ceiling, wood burning fire, beautifully carved Indian furniture and a dining area with candlearbra and huge old pine table. To the side is a spacious kitchen with further dining space and solid wood units. Up the spiral staircase within the tower is a double bedroom with an ensuite shower-room which is outside (but protected from the elements) and is arguably one of the world's loveliest places to start your day. There is a raised Punjabi bed in the master bedroom on the ground floor which has dual aspect windows overlooking a stream and mature trees. Outside there are several terraces, so you can chase the sun or the shade, and a marble table beneath an old lemon tree provides an ideal spot for lunch or a barbecue in the evening

Fifteen minutes from Malaga airport, but not on the flightpath, Rancho del Ingles nestles peacefully in the foothills, just outside the small, busy town of Alhaurin de la Torre. It's well situated for driving to the Costa del Sol and other coasts and inland destinations of Andalucia such as Granada, with its magnificent Alhambra and gardens; the old hillside village of Mijas, famous for its spectacular views of the coast; Ronda with its medieval bridge spanning a gorge and much more. Seville and Cordoba can be reached within two hours by car or train. The local town is about 20 mins walk, or a few mins drive and provides bars, restaurants (which welcome small children) and cafes; tennis; market and shopping. Malaga, often overlooked, is close and has much to offer including: the new Picasso museum, the cathedral and the Alcazaba. Aquapark, Seaworld, Crocodile Park and Plaza Mayor with cafes, shops and cinema with English films, and 18 hole golf course are within short driving distance

    Staff including private chef, driver and maid can all be provided at extra cost
  • Further sleeping accommodation and shower w/c facilities are available. Five further double rooms provide extra sleeping accommodation. Each of these rooms has twin beds and their own shower room w/c, sleeping up to ten additional people.
    Rental does not include El Estudio which is used primarily for functions and is available separately or any additional accommodation to La Casa Grande/The Main House
    Rooms also available on a bed and breakfast basis at €65/€80 plus €10 per breakfast.

Notes: It is important to note that one of the main house twin bedrooms is in the tower and is accessible only via the lower double bedroom. It is a basic room with only a chest of drawers for clothes storage. It would be ideal for children of adults sleeping in the double bedroom below. Two charming annexe rooms and a poolroom provide extra sleeping accommodation. Each of these rooms has twin beds and their own shower room w/c. Rental per additional room is €420/€490/€560 in low/mid/high/peak season. Although there is not a ramp we have had visitors with wheelchairs. Please email for photos and details of steps etc. Smokers welcome, but not in bedrooms. I pod speakers and amp Staff, driver, maid and private chef are available but not included in the rental price

Activities: According to your interests and requirements we should be very pleased to discuss activities available. We run occasional Painting and Drawing Holidays, and Yoga Holidays as well as weddings. Also there are many sightseeing visits and activities we can suggest but some might be more than 15 minutes drive away.

Golf:

Alhaurin de la Torre boasts its own 18 hole course at Lauro Golf which is about a ten minute drive, while ten minutes further on there is the 18 hole, Alhaurin Golf. There are about thirty other courses on the 50 mile stretch of the coast, or Costa del Golf as it is often known. The fine weather makes golf popular with many all year round.

We welcome golf parties and will gladly arrange on bed and breakfast basis if required.

Can't wait to go back! S.C ... Rancho del Ingles is superb … The little ones loved being there … It was indeed a most memorable and happy holiday and I revelled in the congratulations of the family for having found Rancho del Ingles … it proved to be a marvellous choice. L.C ... a fantastic holiday both houses completely exceeded our expectations and we thoroughly enjoyed the gardens and the pool. It is a great spot for local sightseeing, we managed to get to Seville, Granada, Ronda, Puerto Banus, Marbella and we did have plans to see lots more, but we found we enjoyed the house so much that it was a real struggle trying to motivate ourselves to actually get up and do something. P.H ... Fantastic, you should have talked us into two weeks! R.F ... We particularly liked the fact that (the local town) wasn't touristy . We also enjoyed the restaurants you recommended, especially the pizza place...ventured into the town for a few drinks and a spot of pool to keep the lads happy. P.H

Very nice place to spend your holidays!

We went to Rancho del Ingles with family and friends for a wedding and had a great week of holiday.
The place itself is wonderful, very conveniently located to go on day trips into the mountains, the beach or to Malaga.
And the host family helped us with any questions we had and made a great effort in order for us to enjoy our holidays.

We would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back one day.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Doing your 40th with rustic charm and style

I celebrtaed my 40th here with 19 folk in my party. Both Myuki and David, the owners provided that rare thing, which is priceless - good company and good humour - which provided a wonderful context for the celebrations. The weird thing was how effortless it all felt. The place is beautiful, lovely smells of jasmine, lemon and orange trees; the fig trees are gorgeous and produce exvellent fruit. We used all the space available and it is throughfully designed to provide maximum pleasure, whatever your style of indulgence or relaxation. Many thanks for all your help and implicitness about managing a large family - an Indian one at that.

Every thing is close by yet you feel in a very secluded and private setting. Alfresco dining is a must and boht Myuiki and David can be as visible or invisible as you want them to be always at hand to assist with silly, mundane or even specialist requests.

Its a must. Go and enjoy. The best thing is it's les than half hour from the airport but you wouldn't know it.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
