This spacious apartment is located in the peaceful gated Jardines de Las Golondrinas complex next to the prestigious Don Carlos Hotel, Marriot and Alanda beach resorts. The complex had numerous facilities including swimming pools, lifeguard, jacuzzi, lake, tropical gardens plus a restaurant/ bar. One of Marbella's best beaches is a short stroll through the well kept gardens. The apartment is on the top floor and has wonderful sea views. There is a large lounge with dining area, fully fitted kitchen, full air conditioning/ heating plus 2 spacious balconies. There are numerous bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance of the apartment and Marbella centre is a 5 minute drive away. There are also a number of great golf courses within a short drive away.

The apartment is located in Elvira, Marbella on the Costa del Sol, which covers about 300km of the Spanish Mediterranean Coast. Along this coastline are a series of large beaches, coves half-hidden among cliffs, harbours, towns and fishing villages. The cities of Seville, Granada, Cordoba, Cadiz, and the rock of Gibraltar are all within easy driving distance. Well known for golfing this area of the Costa Del Sol has numerous high quality golf courses. Closer to the apartment there are numerous quality beachfront restaurants plus along this beach you will find various water-sport activities. Within walking distance there are three small commercial areas, with a variety of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes & bars, nightclub, banks, chemist, dentist, beauty salons plus other small shops. There is also a bus stop shuttle running to the busy town centre of Marbella.

Beautiful, spacious apartment

This is certainly a beautiful apartment - very well maintained / decorated / furnished. Fantastic views of the Med from sitting room balcony. Lots of space and was ideal for our family of 2 girls & 1 boy.
It should be noted that the resort itself is very quiet - i.e. little or no night life. There is no real focal point to the area at night time - no shops or stalls to browse. Limited number of restaurants within walking distance. Bar in complex closes by 7PM at latest.
The beach is nearby, as indicated, and is very nice (apart from the 'hawkers').
Recommended restaurants: Los Popagoyas, Asia House & Restaraunt Elviria in the locality, and Beckitts in Marbella.
Puerto Banus is well worth a visit to experience the marina!
Owner is very pleasant and helpful. Some constructive suggestions: (i) owner could provide directions to complex from airport and advise that allocated car parking space is taken up with her car; (ii) owner could advise that there is a Sky digital box in the apartment but you need to bring your own Sky card.
Overall, we were very happy with our experience, and would be very happy to recommend the property.
