Our apartment is on the ground floor with a large south facing terrace which has steps down to a lawned area. We are in a gated community, new in 2006. We are only a short distance from some of the best beaches on the Costa Del Sol, just 5 minutes by car, with very easy parking, and several beach restaurants and cafes to choose from. The apartment is perfect for small children, as we have a small lawned area below our terrace. Baby equipment is available for small hire charge. We don't keep to a strict day/time for moving in and out so you can take the benefit of cheaper flights midweek. It is preferable you hire a car as we are around a hillside from Elviria and only 3 minutes by car, but the local taxis are not expensive We keep the rental costs to £80 per night throughout the year, to include electricity, and linen. Should you require a clean of the apartment or change of linen whilst you are there we ask you to pay our local Property Management company personally

Santa Maria Village is in a quiet valley, just over the hill from Elviria where you will find supermarkets, banks, bars, restaurants, golf clubs 5star hotels and the beach! Everything you need for a super holiday in the sun within 2 Kms of your apartment. Nikki Beach is just in front of the 5 star Don Carlos Hotel, a very lively beach club, or wander along the sand and find several lovely quieter restaurants. There is tennis, water sports, golf, jetski, fishing, diving, bowls, karting. 6 Kms along the N340 is the large Shopping Mall, La Canadas, open 10am to 10pm. Puerto Banus (about 10 minutes drive) offers very upmarket shopping with the department store El Cortes Ingles and lots of boutiques. Night clubs, bars and restaurants of every nationality, even a Casino. Worth a trip just to see the expensive yachts in the port.

  • We require payment of 25% deposit to be by cheque in pounds to us upon booking the accommodation. A security deposit will also be required of £200 per week, this will be refunded after the final clean and approval by our caretakers. We also require the balance 4 weeks before your holiday.

  • The terrace faces south, and is a wonderful place to be on a hot summer evening!! The apartment is great for small children as there is a good sized terrace and a small front garden. It is large and spacious and has a high chair.and a cot .....( and some toys and inflatables) There is ample linen stored under the single beds in the second bedroom. There are double wardrobes and drawers with plenty of space for you clothes. Suitcases can be stored in the utility room.

Notes: Our apartment is on the ground floor with a large south facing terrace which has steps down to a lawned area. We are in a gated community , new in 2006. We are only a short distance from some of the best beaches on the Costa Del Sol, just 5 minutes by car, with very easy parking, and several beach restaurants and cafes to choose from. It is a non smoking apartment, but of course you can do so on the terrace. There are ample towels and linen. If you are staying more than 1 week and want the cleaning service/beds changed, the number of the couple who look after the apartment for us is on the notice board. Wheelchair access would be possible from the lift via the underground garage. We have furnished the apartment to a high standard, it will sleep 6 if you use the sofa bed in the sitting room. The twin beds will also make into a kingsize double. A cot can be hired if required from our caretakers. We already have a high chair.

Places to Visit: We are in a central position for some lovely days trips to see some local places of interest. Ronda...about an hours drive into the mountains. A medieval town built on a gorge, see the bridge where the bandits dispatched to their deaths! Marbella....5 minutes up the N340, walk along the Golden Mile and stop for lunch at any of the beach side bars. Visit Casco Antiquo (Orange Square in the Old Town ) little walkways among the orange trees. Puerto Banus...Opulent yachts, expensive shops, great street market on Saturdays, restaurants of every nationality, night clubs, a casino, Mijas Pueblo....20 minutes drive up the mountain, a white village with super views of the Mediterranean Gibraltar....45 minutes, to see the rock and the apes, and shopping. North Africa...take the hovercraft. Tarifa ...to see the paragliders and kites on a huge beach

Restaurants: SO MANY TO CHOOSE!! We leave some suggestions in the apartment, there are some excellent restaurants in Elviria. Saffron if you like a good curry. Chez Michel, Rosemarinos, Valantinos in El Rosario (often has live music), El Laurel on the Beach, Christinas on the beach, The Beach House for something special, Los Sardinales, try the Don Carlos on a Wednesday for their Flamenco Night. Alberts in the Port is great fun, the decor has to be seen to be believed...in the interesting port of Cabopino with more boats., and a lovely beach... ... ..Benahavis....30 minutes drive into the mountains..the Amanhavis Hotel is excellent, but there are so many .. but just take any road to the sea and you will find somewhere to eat and have a jug of Sangria.

Golf Courses: There are 56 Golf Courses on the Costa Del Sol, the nearest to us is the 9 hole course at Greenlife Golf with a Driving Range. You will pass it on the way to the apartment. The nearest 18 hole is not much farther, Santa Maria Golf, the course runs behind Santa Maria Village. Within 10 minutes there are: Santa Clara, Rio Real, Marbella, Cabopino. Mijas, Sanatana, details in the apartment or check out their websites. They can all be prebooked before you leave home.
