Just ten minutes to Puerto Banus and Marbella beach but in the tranquility of the hills with far-reaching sea views, this luxurious apartment fulfills all your dreams for a truly memorable holiday. There are two double bedrooms with patio doors opening on to a large terrace with panoramic views. One with en-suite bathroom, the other has the use of the large walk-in shower room. The spacious lounge is beautifully furnished and has satellite TV. There is an attractive dining area for six and all is air-conditioned / heated throughout. The well-appointed kitchen provides every facility for easy holiday living. The generous terrace makes dining a pleasure watching glorious sunsets over the Mediterranean Sea with views of Gibraltar and Morocco in the distance. There are 3 swimming pools with one for children as well as one in the walled garden overlooking the lake. We have endeavored to offer a taster in this website but, please do ask for more photographs or information.

Nestling in the mountains, the area provides exquisite views, fresh air & peaceful walks, but just a few minutes drive from the renowned Puerto Banus Marina where luxury yachts are moored & you can mingle with the rich & famous or relax at a quayside bar. The beaches of the Golden Mile are alongside superb shopping facilities in designer boutiques & Spain’s finest department store, El Corte Ingles. The night life offers entertainment for all tastes. There are around 30 golf courses in the vicinity. To be part of the typical Spanish way of life, just wind your way up the mountain from Cerros del Lago to the white village Istan. Ten minutes by car takes you back in time to a more quiet & peaceful community. In around 40 min you can travel from airport to front door. Cerros del Lago is truly one of the best locations on the Costa del Sol.

Beautiful apartment and stunning scenery.

The apartment was clean and well equipped. The views from the terrace were breathtaking and we spent many evenings on the terrace enjoying our meals and drinks.

The apartment was well placed to explore Mijas, Rhondda and Peurto Banus and not too far for Seville. The best views has to be the short walk to the bottom of the road from the aprtment and there you have it - the most beautiful lakes and mountain views!

We would definitely return and recommend this apartment to friends.
Owner's Response: This review recommends the peace and tranquility of the apartment. Our renters were concerned about privacy as many developments do not afford such a restful ambience. We are pleased their precious holiday time was all they could have wished. The location is perfect for trips to many other attractive locations if you can tear yourself away from what is immediately on your doorstep! It is so lovely to hear they are already planning a return trip.

A lovely relaxing holiday

We had a lovely relaxing holiday with my brother and sister-in-law. It was very peaceful - we had the use of the pool to ourselves. The apartment was clean and well furnished. You definitely need a car and need to stock up on essentials as there is not a shop or bar/restaurant within walking distance - however, it only takes about 10 minutes into Puerto Banus. We had stunning weather and enjoyed waking up to clear blue skies and sunshine everyday! We would be happy to book the apartment again.

Owner's Response: We chose this location for its views and quietness but also for its proximity to the Golden Mile, Puerto Banus and Marbella.

We haven't yet explored all the walks in the Sierra de las Nieves natural park (in which Cerros del Lago is located), but then it does cover over 200km² so there is plenty to see.

This is a luxurious apartment, well decorated with spectacular views. It was clean, well maintained, with everything you would need for a very comfortable stay. A real home from home. It has a large terrace which receives the sun in the afternoon till late in the evening. Although it is in a quiet location, it is a sort drive down the hill into Puerto Banus where there are plenty of restaurants and bars.We liked La Terberna de Pinxos for lovely tapas. You do need a car, but it is well worth it to be up in the hills and those views of Gibraltar Rock and Africa. We drove to a few places like Ronda which is well worth seeing including the journey up there. But while there go the extra distance to the Sierra de Grazelema. Stunning!!
Rodger and Kay supplied us with accurate and helpful information and have created a lovely apartment I would not hesitate recommending to friends and relatives

We had a really comfortable & peaceful vavation.

The apartment has been beautifully furnished by the owners, as they said it is a real home from home, with everything we could have needed.

The views are amazing, sweeping across the Med to Morocco and Gibraltar, and then over the Golden mile to the mountains, these views are seen from the terrace and most rooms in the apartment.

The location was just what we wanted, out of the hubub of built up areas but having all the convenience of being 10 minutes drive from Puerto Banus & Marbella. We would recommend a car for convenience, that is if you prefer not to use the bus service to Istan.

The facilities are really good. Two large and one toddler private pools (all within site of the terrace) and one massive community pool a couple of minutes walk away. The terrace is very large and private, with everything you need to soak up the suns rays!

What else. The neighbours in number one were really friendly and helpful, they appear to live there. I'm not too envious!! Look forward to visiting again.
