Puerto Banus - Nueva Andalucia holiday apartment: Aldea Blanca

We booked this apartment at very short notice having had the misfortune to arrive at another apartment on other complex on another private owners' website, which was sadly dirty and unfit. And Peter's apartment certainly eased our worries and allowed us to enjoy a fantastic week in Puerto Banus.

For starters, the Aldea Blanca complex is the perfect place to stay in Puerto Banus. On your doorstep are all the supermarkets, bars and restuarants you'll ever need and the marina is a short hop away too. There's a tranquility to the complex and it's perfectly maintained with on site security and a community office too which offers English speaking babysitters.

The apartment is situated right by one of the pools - just a few steps down - so it's great for the kids to nip out to if you have them and a relaxing backdrop from the terrace in the evening. As there a four pools on the site don't worry that it'll be noisy and it's really not that sort of place anyway. This isn't a typical apartment block package tour stylie with coach tranfers en masse - you're staying in a proper home from home. Inside is everything you need and it's clean and modern, bright and airy.

A big bonus is that you'll get the sun from mid morning to sunset on the terrace - which is very big and not just a balcony, and the lounge and bedroom doors all open wide to it. There's also a large awning to keep that sun off when you need to.

There are a few properites at Aldea Blanca advertised on this site and we've seen and stayed in a few. But for value for money and location, this is the best so far.

Oh and an added bonus is the Casino five minutes walk away and a great chinese restaurant just over the road.
