Puerto Cabopino holiday apartment

This was the second time we have rented this apartment and it won't be the last. We found it to be very central to most places. Marbella for the shops, night life or just people waching, Gibraltar for the history and the monkeys, and even got really adventurous and went to Nerja which is lovely and about 1 hours drive.
It is not essential to hire a car as the apartment is situated close to a good resturant and now, which was new for 2008, Andy's bar which serves drinks and food about 75 yards away.
A car is advised if you want to be adventurous and drive to Marbella which is only 20mins away.
The beach at Cabopino is good and has a bar for drinks and food during the day.
At night, Cabopino has soom great places to eat overlooking the marina which was very plesant.
If you just want to relax by the pool all day, this is good too as it has it's own life gaurd so is very safe for the children, although we didn't see many during both our stays. Although the pool feeds 3 or 4 apartments it never seems to be too busy which is good.
A bit about the apartment.
It's fantastic. Lovley and clean, well appointed and so relaxing. The BBQ on the top terrace is great, although I found it too hot up there during the day, so we used to eat early evening when it was a little cooler.

If, like me, you don't like driving abroad, here you don't have to, but I am now more adventurous and quite enjoy it providing I get back to Andy's bar for a drink or two before lights out.
We will certainly be going back again, maybe end of this year, availibility permitting.

Had a great holiday here and especially enjoyed being close to the beach,restaurants and bars.
Spent most of our time shopping and sunbathing either at the beach or on the lovely terrace.
The penthouse was very clean and had everything we needed.
We are already thinking of booking again for next year.

All the family had a fantastic time in the very large gardens.The 2 large swimming pools and childrens pool were ideal and not crowded.
The very private solarium is a sun trap with great views to the mountains and down to the sea. Being able to have breakfast on one terrace and then an evening meal on the upper terrace has a great feeling watching over the flickering lights at sea.
The penthouse is in an ideal location near to all attractions for every age group.
I can recommend this property to anybody and have booked it again in 2008.
