Las Mimosas was completed in June 2003, this spacious apartment is situated in peaceful elevated gardens overlooking Puerto Cabopino. Within a few minutes walk are two of the finest unspoilt beaches on the Costa del Sol, a picturesque marina and a competition 18-hole golf course. Located on the middle floor of three the apartment is finished and furnished to a high standard. The stylish 30m2 lounge with comfortable leather sofas, DVD and satellite TV leads onto a large terrace with fantastic sea views over the marina and even as far as Africa. The apartment is fully air conditioned (and centrally heated for the winter months). There are two beautifully appointed bedrooms each with large built in wardrobes and full en-suite luxury marble bathrooms. Both bedrooms can either be doubles or twins plus fold away bed. In addition to a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, oven, hob, etc) there is a separate utility room with washing machine. Secure parking is below with lift access.

Notes to the rental rates

• Unless otherwise agreed, prices are for 7 nights from 4pm Saturday to 10am Saturday and include a welcome pack, bed linen, towels (not beach) and cleaning after departure. A refundable deposit of £250 (details on request) is required to secure your booking and the balance is payable eight weeks before arrival. Once your booking is confirmed you will receive a full information pack giving directions, key collection details, etc. Special offer for two weeks or longer, the second week will cost 50% of the advertised price (subject to availability, ask for details), this includes an additional linen and towel change. There is an extraordinary variety of restaurants with gastronomy from throughout the world all along the Costa del Sol, this creates a unique atmosphere and provides for a multitude of tastes. Here everything from the most exclusive restaurants with the finest chefs to popular tapas bars that specialise in local dishes can be found. Puerto Cabopino is home to an exciting range of restaurants, with fine cuisine from all over the globe. From traditional Spanish favourites such as paella and pizza. and from Chinese to international cuisine, all palates are catered for and there's even an unusual Victoria theme restaurant offering more than just a feast - a feast for the eyes. Vegetarian menus are also available. The many restaurants are based in two main locations all within easy walking distance, chiringitos along the beach, and a host of restaurants around the delightful, beautifully proportioned harbour.

Cabopino

Only 12 km from Marbella and 14 km from Fuengirola, it's hard to believe that a hidden jewel such as Cabopino exists in the heart of the Costa del Sol. With an attractive beach, relaxed atmosphere, pleasant harbour and renowned restaurants, Cabopino is undoubtedly the Coast's best kept secret. Cabopino (Pine Cape) is just that. In a part of the world where forests are usually of the concrete variety, the first thing that strikes you is that the forest of pine trees comes right down to the sand dunes along the beach. Cabopino is unlike anywhere else on the coast, development has been strictly controlled here, and the tower blocks which are so characteristic along the Costa's shore-line are noticeable by their absence .Perhaps that is why the secret of the jewel of the Costa del Sol survives, but seeing is believing - Cabopino is a charming oasis in the heart of the Costa del Sol that's easy to fall in love with and shouldn't be missed. The Beach

Cabopino is well sheltered and protected from the elements, and artificial reefs on either side of the beach keep the waves and wind at bay. Lifeguards - on duty throughout the summer - combined with the beach's gentle slope into the sea, make Cabopino child-friendly and safe. The sand is well maintained, clean and of a superior quality to other beaches along the Costa del Sol, making Cabopino the ideal place for the child in all of us to build our very own sandcastle in the sun. An old fortified watchtower still stands proudly by the sand dunes alongside the beach. From its privileged position it is possible to see all along the coast to Marbella and Gibraltar and Africa beyond, a spectacular backdrop for a spectacular beach. Chiringitos (beachside bars and restaurants) are plentiful here and are renowned for their excellent quality. Costa del Sol residents come from far and wide to sample Cabopino's specialty, superb seafood at prices that won't break the bank.

Golf Information:

When the Costa del Sol experienced a renaissance as a winter golf resort in the late eighties, the phrase 'Costa del Golf' was coined. Recently no fewer than 17 new golf courses have appeared, bringing the total along this stretch of coast up to thirty. This concentration of quality golf courses, combined with the unique sunny and warm winter climate, led to its becoming unrivalled as a winter golf destination for northern Europeans, who while emerging as a serious force at all levels of golf, were deprived of the opportunity to play during the harsh winter months. When Valderrama was chosen to host the Ryder Cup in 1997, the Costa del Golf received universal recognition as the finest winter golf resort in Europe. Golf course owners are re-investing in their courses to improve their quality still further and there are no longer any weak links, each course offering its own kind of challenge on perfect fairways and greens. Mimosas Golf is located adjacent to the Cabopino Golf Club with the Golf Acedemy and driving range within walking distance. This 5,170 metre long course offers spectacular views of both sea and mountains. Designed by Juan Ligues Creves the signiature hole (3) is an interesting par 4 with a tee box cut into the cliff face and the fairway almost directly below. High hamdicappers will have to use every club in their bag and low handicappers will have to take risks if they want good results. All clubs speak english and tee times can easily be booked in advance.
