The villa is a real haven of peace and tranquility with the only background noise being the sound of the sea! It is ideal for a romantic getaway, families with children or friends sharing. The villa has everything anyone could need on holiday. The location could not be better, you can stroll along the beach to the world renowned Puerto Banus in 12 minutes and Marbella in 20 minutes. El Corte Ingles Supermarket and Department Store is only a 12 minute walk from the Villa, where you can sample a stunning array of culinary delights and admire many designer boutiques. The villa is south-facing with large French windows so it is light filled all day and is the only villa in the complex with direct view of the magnificent pool. You can have breakfast in the rising sun and watch the glistening Mediterranean from the lush tropical garden. There are numerous places of historical interest nearby. The Moorish City of Granada with its Alhambra Palaces and gardens, one of the most brilliant jewels of universal architecture is approximately 1.5 hours drive. Europe’s sunniest ski resort, the Sol y Nieve in Sierra Nevada, host of the 1996 World Ski Championships is located 45 minutes drive from Granada city. The Costa del Sol is at the forefront of Europe for sailing with its excellent marinas and invaluable berthing capacities, these include marinas at Marbella, Puerto Banus, Estepona, Duguesa, etc.

Golf details: The concentration of quality courses, the unique sunny and warm winter climate, and the hospitality of the local people make the area absolutely ideal for golf lovers. When Valderrama was chosen to host the Ryder Cup in 1997, the Costa del Sol received worldwide recognition as being the best 'Winter Golf Resort in Europe'. The final honour was the selection of Valderrama to host the 'World Championship' in November 1999.

The general infrastructure in the region has improved. The completion of the new highway has greatly reduced the travel time from Malaga to Gibraltar. There are more than 55 golf courses in Andalucia and 30 of these are on the Costa del Sol. The villa is surrounded by golf courses. Each offering its own kind of challenges on excellent fairways and perfect greens.

Fantastic Holiday Getaway

The villa was everything we expected and a little more. Private garden with sunshine all day, quiet pool area and a almost deserted beach a true holiday getaway.
The villa was spacious and charming. Well maintained even down to a weekly gardener.
Would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet base but within close reach of all amenities for all tastes.

Better than the photos

We came to this villa with 2 small children in October 2007 and had a lovely week. The place is very spacious, with a good size terrace. The complex is small and secure and could not be closer to the empty beach. A car is needed to get shopping etc. Great restaurants and bars within 5 minute drive, and some are a short walk away.

Location, Location, Location....

The title says it all, what a stunning location! The pool is less than 25 metres from the front door, and the beach is literally 5 metres from the end of the pool.

We have just returned from an eleven night stay at this fabulous complex and wish we could have stayed for another week or 2.

The villa was clean and tidy, well maintained and had everything you could need. The room sizes were great, our home has particulary large rooms so when we holiday, by comparison the rooms are always a lot smaller. The master bedroom was very spacious with ample closet space, and a great ensuite. All the other rooms were as described and worked really well for us. The 3rd Bedroom (which we didn't need) is very small, with bunks, but would be fine for children.

The villa had great outdoor space, with 4 loungers and a table and chairs set. The canopy/awning that could be let out over the patio was a godsend, so allow us to dine outside whilst keeping the sun off. The view from the garden is the picture you see looking over the pool and the sea.

The villa is essentially on one level, but with 2 or 3 steps to go into the lounge. There are doors from the sitting room/dining room and master bedroom directly onto the garden. There is also a small roof terrace where the views are fabulous.

The complex itself only has about 30 properties, so we found ourselves quite often on our own in the pool. At most we saw 4/5 other families/couples.

The air conditioning was adequate and kept us cool day and night. There were 2 adult bikes available for our use, that we didn't use as we had our 2 children with us, but would have been ideal to cycle on the promenade into Puerto Banus.

There was a english speaking contact available to us at all times, should we have had any problems or needed any advice, who made a point of finding us at the pool and introducing himself to us.

The pool and complex was well maintained by a team of people all of which were very friendly.

Puerto Banus was a shortish walk from the villa along the promenade and there were various beach bars towards Marbella all close proximity. The Toni Dalli restaurant was closed for refurbishment, so I can't comment on that unfortunately.

All in all a fantastic villa and stunning location, we really hope to return and for a longer stay. Would recommend!
