Additional information about rental rates

  • A deposit of 25% of the rent is required to secure your booking. The balance is payable 8 weeks before your arrival date. A damages deposit of £ 500 or 25% of the rent, if greater, is also due 8 weeks prior to the arrival date. If a booking is made less than 8 weeks before the arrival date, 100% plus the damages deposit is required to secure the booking.
    If you cancel, or fail to pay the balance by the due date, all amounts paid to secure the booking are forfeited, and only the damages deposit will be returned. Damages deposits, less any deductions (including expenses) are returnable some 14 days after the departure date. Meals may be cooked by our staff by arrangement at additional cost. Breakages will be recharged on a replacement as new cost basis. It is a condition of our contract that tenants will have taken out travel and medical insurance.
  • Expenses are added to rent at cost, according to usage, including electricity, telephone, laundry and final clean. Rents quoted in excess of €2000 per week also include daily maid service of 2 hours per working weekday. Fully serviced, all-in, including half/full board with top quality cuisine and daily/live-in maid services, from €4,700pw, depending on the number of people staying in the house and the details of the service you would like us to provide. We can also include limousine service, cultural tours, cooking/ art/ photography/ film courses.

    Surcharge of 7.5% of total rent, if at any time during your holiday the number of guests staying overnight, or different number of beds used, exceeds 8.

    Reductions for lets longer than 6 weeks.

  • The quality of your holiday sleep is our priority! We have superior beds in all 6 luxurious principal bedrooms and in addition some comfortable collapsible beds for extras. All bed linen is 100% cotton, mainly Egyptian & all duvets & pillows are duck/goose feather/down (alternatives available for allergy sufferers on request). 3 of the 4 main bedrooms feature balconies, including one large balcony overlooking the pool. The under floor-heated marble floors are adorned with Persian carpets. Each room includes a large fitted wardrobe in traditional Andalusian style, recalling the Moorish splendour of the Alhambra, Granada; the Master Suite includes a dressing room, with space for a cot or full size bed suitable for a young child. All rooms feature views to the large garden, sea, local countryside or mountains.

Musicians will relish using the Bosendorfer (the 'Bentley' of pianos) in the Living Room and our Yamaha Clavinova digital piano/orchestra in the Hall (headphones available!).

Spectacular Jacuzzi and Garden: Jacuzzi hot tub (up to 40C) for up to 8 people, set on a secluded 25sqm rustic deck, with magnificent views through olives to Mediterranean, mountains and golf course. This is part of our wonderful garden.

Golf: This villa is especially suited to golfers. You can walk to the 8th tee of Robert Trent Jones Snr's Marbella Golf in a couple of minutes or drive to its clubhouse (or adjoining Santa Clara's) in a few more. The rest of the coast from Valderrama & Sotogrande to Malaga overflows with courses to suit all players' needs. Santa Clara also features excellent practice facilities. The house is the Marbella base of NZ tour pro and course designer Greg Turner (one of the few to have beaten Tiger Woods), and is owned by the editor/photographer of the acclaimed Pocket Guide to Golf Courses: Spain & Portugal, which was written in the Blue Bedroom. A free copy of the book is given to every golfer staying at the house. We are extremely well connected within the Iberian golf world, and can arrange tailor-made golf or golf and culture holidays, from a self-catering basis right through to a tour hosted by Greg Turner or other golf playing/course design/photography professionals, as suits the requirements of the party.

Stunning views, fabulous villa

Our family of seven stayed in this superbly presented villa in January 2010.
It is accurately depicted in the description and we found it a very convenient base for our holiday on the Costa del Sol.
We were able to visit Gibraltar, Morocco and Ronda easily. Marbella and surrounds were literally just down the hill.
There was a very convenient supermarket and restuarants only five minutes away by car.
When we had trouble with the television the problem was fixed speedily.
The stand out feature of this magnificent house was not just the sumptuous interior but the sweeping views across the Mediterranean to Africa and Gibraltar.
We stayed in five very different properties during our month in Andalusia and this villa would be one we would love to stay in again.
