Location:
The property is located in the heart of golf valley, close to 4 renown courses. The area is mature and well maintained with an abundance of floral vegetation. The pueblo is a charming mix of colourful houses built in an Andalusian style, with gardens and a pretty central square.
Puerto Banus with its marina is interesting by day and particularly lively at night with its abundant restaurants, bars and shopping, whilst Marbella offers a mix of the old charm of Orange Sq with a sophisticated seafront resort.
Marbella/Puerto Banus has long been one of Europe's top vacation spots. Sun, sea and golf make it an all year round destination. With around 32 courses (including one floodlit ) it caters for all level s of golfer, but it offers a great deal more with most pursuits and interests catered for.
By way of sightseeing, a number of Pueblo Blancos are within easy reach, with the hillside town of Ronda worthy of visiting.
Malaga, with its Picasso links is also well worth a trip
Property:
The house is our second home, and as such we have sought to make it as welcoming as possible. It is well appointed, with comfortable sofas and ample seating, both inside and outside . The kitchen is fully equipped including 2 fridge /freezers (to ensure plenty of cool drinks!!). There is a guest cloakroom on the ground floor and a separate laundry room. All bedrooms are of a good size, with ample wardrobe space in each. 2 of the 3 bathrooms are en- suite.
Outside there is a spacious front patio with easy access from the sitting room. The roof terrace is partly planted with a small fountain providing an ideal area for relaxation. It is also equipped for dining, with an in built BBQ/fridge etc.
Views from the roof terrace are stunning, south westerly towards Gibraltar, south to P.B, east to Marbella and north to the La Concha mountain. A local fairway is in the near vista with plenty of 'green' on view.
The charming location/ panoramic views will not fail to please.
Travel/Amenities:
Approximately 45 minutes drive time from Malaga airport. The region is well served by a motorway with the nearest access approx 3 Klms.Plans are currently in place for a fast rail link from Malaga, but not yet in place.
Whilst there are fairly frequent local bus services, car hire is recommended. Please advise if assistance is required.
We provide a garage facility - resident on street parking is limited to preserve the character of the pueblo.
The restaurant choice is wide. Within walking distance there is a parade of restaurants which have become something of a restaurant 'destination' in the area, but the choice in the wider area is vast to suit all pockets and tastes. Puerto Banus is a popular location offering a high density of restaurants and slightly further away, Benahavis claims to be a 'gastronomic ' centre.
