Beautiful Spacious villa central Puerto Banus with private pool

This single level villa is wonderfully located as it is only a ten minute walk from the harbour and nightlife of Puerto Banus. It is very close to taxis, buses, restaurants and bars. The ideal location is just below the bull ring in Puerto Banus and it boasts of its own private pool, colourful private gardens a BBQ area with gazebo and table/chairs, and a private garage (so no parking problems!). Sun lounges are provided for lying by the pool and there is another set of table and chairs on the terrace for outside dining. The villa is cleanly decorated and is beautifully furnished to a very high standard. The villa is very secure and has window bars and mosquito guards. This villa is next door to Holiday Rentals property number 19682. The two can be booked together for the larger groups of up to 18 people (please check availability).

The villa is located just below the Bullring of Nueva Andalucia / Puerto Banus. The bullring is host to a market at weekends providing both historic interest and a great shopping experience. There is a multitude of golf courses near by and of course the marina at Puerto Banus, which is less than ten minutes walk away. Marbella (with its famous Golen Mile) is about 8km away and can be reached very easily by bus or taxi. Puerto Banus and Marbella are both packed with history and a multitude of bars, restaurants, shopping centres and beautiful beaches. The villa provides a very central place to stay it is very close to the hustle and bustle of the port (but not right in the middle of it) and perfect for those who do not want far too walk for the Marbella lifestyle. It is also easy to travel from the villa to Estepona and all the local attractions (the Selwo safari park, the aqua park, the theme park of Tivoli World) and even Gibraltar. A supermarket is about 5-7 minutes from the house.

  • The two twin beds are 2 metres long by 90 cm wide. They can be zipped together (please request when booking) to make it into super king size if required. All sheets used in summer are 100% Egyptian cotton. 100% Egyptian cotton duvets are also used during the winter months. The bedrooms are quite spacious with plenty of cupboard space. The extra bed in the room with three single beds is 180x90 metres. All the bedrooms and lounge have central ceiling fans which keep the villa cool in summer.

Notes:

The Barbecue provided is an electric lean grilling machine - for the healthy option! If you wish to rent this property, then you must be aware that the villa is located next to a roundabout and there may be some noise from slow moving traffic. Smokers are requested to smoke outside the villa in the gardens and on the terrace only. There is Sky TV installed which comes with channels 1-5. It is advisable to bring your own sky viewing card if possible which will enable you to watch the sky multi-channel package. If not, it is possible to rent an enabled viewing card for 15 euros per week. German and French Satellite TV is also available. ADSL access is available at EURO 70.00 per week which includes 1Gb of download.

Car Hire and Transfers

We can also arrange good reliable car hire for you from Malaga or Gibraltar airports. You will be met at the arrivals longe of the airport and taken directly to the car (no need to queue), and then directed to the villa by a local car hire firm. Please ask us about this service during the booking process and we are happy to provide you with a quote. (Cars range from entry level Fiat Puntos to Mercendes SLKs). We can also provide airport transfers, which must be booked with your booking process.

Tourist attractions

Puerto Banus is also well located to travel to many places…Gibraltar, “The Rock”, offering British styles, a Mediterranean climate and duty free prices! Seville, one of the largest towns in Andalusia with an envious history, and on the flip side, Puerto Banus, with its pleasure boat harbour, stunning shopping and people watching. Marbella with its golden mile, or the white hill village of Casares. For the Atlantic coast consider historic Tarifa, only a couple of hours away, or even a day trip to Morocco – get to see a bit of Africa!!! You can see, there is so much for you just a short trip away! Notwithstanding the above, if you are keen on golf, there are many courses only a few minutes away. Estepona is also worth a visit for it still remains a very Spanish town with its many beaches, bars and restaurants. Altogether it is an ideal base for a memorable holiday for both families and friends who want to be located in the centre of everything.

This place is ideal for either a break from the rat race or a holiday with friends to sample the night lift of Puerto Banus.

I did not notice any traffic noise despite being just off a busy road (don't worry, its not a motorway or major trunk road, but there is traffic). A supermarket lies just up the hill, maybe 5-10 mins walk, with a Chinese and Indian restaurant for the lazy days en route. Head 5-10 mins the other way and your in the thick of it: yachts, Ferraris and beautiful people!

The apartment is well fitted out: fans in each room, decent sized fridge/freezer, sky TV and DVD, small radio and definitely enough room for 7. Then there is the garden area - perfect! The pool always seems warm enough (we did go in July though), and there is a little tucked away set of table and chairs if you need more room (which you won't!). If you do go night swimming, the pool has lights! Looks awesome and to add to that holiday feeling, whilst sipping on a cold cruz campo (available at the supermarket!)

We never really figured out the taxis. Some say they don't pick up from the roundabout, others do. We simply took a walk toward Puerto Banus and caught one there, there seems to be a bit of a queue at around 5-6pm so be warned. Check out the folder in the apartment for ideas of activities. This year we went bowling - about 11 euros in the taxi - head to Centro Comercial La Cañada. This will take you to a shopping centre with a host of clothes shops, restaurants the lot.

If it is shopping you're after, on your way into Puerto Banus, take a left at the first major crossing and you will come across Marina Banus.

I was there with a group of guys and we all loved the place. There are no end of bars that could be frequented, but somehow, we would always show up in the 70's bar - maybe that is just the age showing.

The guys who run this place are helpful and friendly, so any questions, I'm sure they'd be willing to help. We booked an early check in and a late check out. The guys will also arrange your transportation (for an extra cost obviously) and again, this was ultimately worth it.

If you get there early, why not stop off for a bite to eat and the first cold cerveza at the cafe on the opposite side, just to the left of the random bits of furniture! Lovely place and the guys in there looked after us with our pale faces the next day.

There is also a street market on Saturday nearby.

In one word, this place is "perfect".
