Drive to the door of this one-level property situated on the beautiful Oasis de Capistrano with palm trees and exotic plants in the communal gardens. The decor is typically Spanish. There are two bedrooms. One has a double bed with an ensuite bathroom, the other has two single beds. There is a second bathroom with toilet. Both bedrooms open onto the terrace. There is a well equipped kitchen with electric cooker, microwave and plenty of utensils. The lounge, which also opens onto the terrace, has a convertible bed settee and two armchairs. There is cable TV and a radio/cassette/ CD player. A safe is available. The open fire gives a cosy atmosphere in winter. The dining area has a table and six chairs. The good sized terrace is private and overlooks the Oasis gardens and the Mediterranean Sea. The built-in barbeque is in the typical Spanish style. The are two sunbeds, a table and plenty of chairs for al fresco living. The covered part of the terrace allows its use in most weathers.

The villa is within walking distance of Nerja and Burriana beach. On Oasis there are two swimming pools, a childrens pool and two petanque courts. There are restaurants locally, a bus-stop 50 metres away and a well stocked supermarket 200 metres away. One of the restaurants is at the main pool and in addition to excellent meals it has an outside bar, a pool table and serves ice creams and snacks. It has entertainment some nights of the week. Another restaurant/bar is even closer, being only about 60 metres away, with internet access. Oasis has a 24 hour security guard.

Nerja: The villa is situated on a quiet development on the eastern outskirts of Nerja, which is within walking distance. The old town of Nerja has retained its Spanish charm being a bustling mixture of narrow cobbled streets, shops and restaurants. It is claimed that there are over 300 restaurants and bars. There are numerous beaches, the biggest being Burriana with the usual beach facilities (for example, swimming, sailing, windsurfing, scuba-diving, paragliding and fishing) and many excellent restaurants - it is within walking distance. The focal point of the old town is the Balcon of Europe, a popular meeting point and the starting point for horse-drawn carriage rides. Tuesday market is very big and very popular with visitors and locals alike. The holiday can be what you want: lively, active or peaceful.

The Surrounding Area: The house and town are surrounded by market gardens quickly rising to a back- drop of spectacular mountains. The area is punctuated with the white-washed houses of the Andalusian villages - Frigiliana is a fine example. Walkers are particularly drawn to the area. Nearby (within walking distance) are the spectacular Nerja caves (actually at Maro). They are open every day but there is an auditorium where annual dance and music festivals are held. The blue lagoon of Lake Vinuela is worth a visit. There are golf courses, the nearest being Baviera (15 minutes away). Further afield is Granada with the Alhambra Palace. Close to Granada are the Sierra Nevada mountains, which accommodate Europe's most southerly ski resort (Solynieve). For the more ambitious, day trips to Gibraltar and Morocco are possible.

...the apartment and complex were lovely. We didn't want to come home! - KM ...first vist to Nerja and thought that it was extremely nice. Your villa is nice, quiet and well situated and we really would have stayed for another three weeks - MK. We had a great holiday this year in your lovely villa. Thank you. - PS. We very much enjoy our winter visits to the Capistrano area and found it very pleasnt this year to come back to such a comfortable apartment after a day's excursions - Mr & Mrs MF. The apartment is in a lovely spot. If the owners are ever wishing to sell we would be interested - B + JF. No 36 was above our expectations - the views from the balcony, the location (for Mary with her disabilities) and the villa equipment - J & MC. .....had a lovely holiday - many thanks for the opportunity. The villa was really well equipped and the position and views were brilliant - M & AM.

The property is really well equipped with everything you could need for a family holiday. It was really clean & well furnished. Having 2 bathrooms was fantastic, and the main shower was very powerful. Excellent balcony with great views over the complex and to the sea. Wine and flowers were left for us on arrival. Very close to local shops and easy to find. Peaceful location.

The complex is great for families - easy to walk around, safe & secure. The swimming pools are clean and the surroundings well cared for. The nearest beach is a 10minute drive away.

The only downsides are that there is no washing machine or air conditioning. This August was hot HOT HOT so the nights were really sticky.

We would recommned this property again and indeed may try to stay there again in future!
