Carabeo is the best street in Nerja. Whilst being in the centre of town and close to everything, it is actually an elevated position on top of a small cliff. This home is on the south side of the street and so the terrace and solarium look directly out over the sea and the rugged and spectacular coastline. The view is simply breathtaking and the ambiance is enhanced by the sound of the waves breaking on the small beach below. The apartment is close to all amenities, 5 minutes walk to the Balcon de Europe and to the Bus Station. There are a wide range of restaurants on the door step, and beaches below you to left and right. The solarium offers sea and mountain views and has a shower, sink, electricity, BBQ and sun loungers. Satellite TV with all free to air channels in several languages. The compound is surrounded by a high wall providing a very high level of privacy and security. You will enjoy your stay in Casa Stena

Directions from Malaga Airport(50 min drive) From the airport follow the signs for Almeria/Motril using 'Ronda de Malaga'. Follow the signs for Nerja(Costa) from the motorway. straight through a series of roundabouts ,over the bridge and take the right at the sign for the Parador Hotel. Follow this road to the fountain and continue straight ahead taking the right turn. Drive ahead to a T junction, take the left turn to the start of Av Carabeo. Casa Stena is on the left , the black key opens the street door and the blue opens all locks on the apartment door. Casa Steina is the top floor of a three unit complex situated at the Burriana end of Av Carabeo opposite the African Craft shop.

Nerja: Nerja is where the mountains of the Sierra Almijara come down and meet the sea. It is a Spanish town, not a 'tourist' town, in a spectacular setting between the foothills of the mountains and the sparkling Mediterranean. A place where clear fresh mountain water flows in abundance, making the village a paradise of trees, flowers and colour, all year round. It lies in one of Spain's richest farming areas; abundant with fruit, vegetables and flowers; this is known as the 'Garden of Europe'. It is an area of outstanding beauty situated in the midst of a tropical valley where you will find olive groves, avocado trees, fields of wild strawberries and the greatest variety of exotic plants all encouraged by what is considered to be the best all year round climate in Europe. Because of its unique location, and being protected from the north by the majestic, snow capped, Sierra Nevada range, Nerja has its own micro-climate and the soft dry air is known to be beneficial to Asthma sufferers.

Note: Because the stairway leading up to the roof terrace and the terrace itself has a fairly low guard rail, this apartment is not suitable for children.

Beautiful apartment

We have stayed in this apartment on many occasions over the years and hopefully for many to come. It is as the ad says in the best location in Nerja with the most amazing 260 degree views from the Balcon to Burriana and the mountains behind. The apartment is always beautifully maintained as it is locally managed by Mendez & Bernadette which makes matters all the more reliable.
I would highly recommend it to anyone.
