Charming 2 bedroom detached villa in Capistrano, Nerja
This centrally heated villa is has a large attractive dining room with log burning stove. The kitchen has been refurbished to include a dishwasher, electric oven, four hobs, micro-wave, washing machine, and fridge freezer. The charming separate sitting room also has a stove, satellite TV and a DVD player. The master bedroom has an enclosed balcony with excellent sea views. The bathroom has also been refurbished. The good sized walled garden, with lawn and an orange and lemon tree, has two delightful terraces, one outside the dining room with good views of the sea and the other outside the sitting room under a palm tree. The villa is very close to the centre of the village where there is a well stocked mini-market, restaurant, cash point, public telephone and two of the main swimming pools with a poolside bar and children’s pool. The villa is very well equipped and comfortably furnished to a high standard to provide you and your family with a most enjoyable holiday.

Nerja is a delightful family resort set against the backdrop of the striking Sierra de Almijara mountains, with over ten miles of sandy beaches in all. The 'Balcon de Europa' in the centre is a handsome promenade, lined with palm trees, that provides panoramic views of the Mediterranean. It also provides a stage for street performers, numerous cafes and restaurants and is a starting point for horse drawn trips round the town. The town has a wide variety of restaurants from the simple to the more sophisticated, including some excellent fish restaurants. Some provide entertainment in the evening, including some good flamenco performances. There are plenty of shops and a popular local market is held every Tuesday. There are also several local travel operators who provide excursions to Ronda, Seville, Cordoba, Granada, Marbella, and even Gibraltar. There is a tennis club and a large supermarket just outside the village.

Access to the villa is from 4pm and departure by 10 am. Normally bookings are from Saturday to Saturday during high season but some flexibility is possible at other times of the year. We ask for a deposit of £75 to secure the booking with the balance to be paid six weeks in advance. Price includes tv, cleaning, electricity, linen and towels. HIre of cot, high chair and stair gate is extra.

Travel
By car, Malaga airport to El Capistrano Village takes approximately 45 minutes. Alternatively, a train or airport bus (Number 19) takes you to Malaga Central Bus Station where a bus (Number 38) takes you to Nerja and stops at the entrance to the village. There are also local buses from Nerja to Torre del Mar, Frigliana, the Nerja caves and Almunecar.
Things to do
Nerja offers good beaches and a wide variety of restaurants from the simple to more sophisticated. Its famous caves are close by and are quite amazing. The Sierra Almijara National Park lies immediately behind the village and offers splendid walking at all levels. Frigiliana, a whitewashed mountain village close by, offers excellent restaurants both in the village itself and in the countryside around as well as a lively market. Further afield, the Alhambra Palace in Granada is about 2 hours away by car but you must book in advance to get in (by internet or BBVA Bank in Nerja) . It is well worth it as it is a place of unparalleled beauty. A similar drive takes you to the Sierra Nevada or to the Alpujarras mountains, with their charming villages, again well worth the trip. There are golf courses nearby and water sports are available on the beach.
