Nothing but praise for this holiday. Instructions and directions were well organised, the villa is fabulous, tasteful, luxurious and very well equipped. The area is fantastic and suitable for everyone, whether it's adventure you seek , walking,or sun worshipping.Teenagers will have plenty to do. You can leave them and go sightseeing.
The caves are simply stunning, you will not be prepared for the magic of this place, surreal and spiritual, closes at 2pm opens at 5pm 7 euros worth every cent. Balcon de Europe is a favourite, beautiful views, paseos, restaurants, chilling, people watching, shopping and only a short walk. From the villa terrace you will see people walking up a walkway hill, it's up there. Burriana beach is one of the best beaches in the area and mins away. I recommend the Sierra Nevada and the highest village in Europe at 5,000ft, it's chilly, dress for the temperature. The roads are new and safe, the lookout points are scary.
Some wonderful sightseeing places, very beautiful, Picasso museum is a must in Malaga,Plaza de Merced nr tunnel and castle. there are two nr each other. A horse and carriage ride is great if it's hot and you don't want to walk but will cost you 30 euro, don't go in the black one he's stroppy. Frijilliana the prettiest village is only 3kms. Almunecar is 16kms, bird park nr the beach direction, Lori Sexi park, a lovely morning and a wonderful square, great hotel for coffee, and lookout views and much more. Restaurants locally are great, many to choose from or stay home and BBQ on the terrace and enjoy panoramic views.Dishwasher in villa.Carrefour supermarkets are cheap and interesting, bargain offers on seafood. Walk to the right of Burriana beach and discover another small beach, go up the steps and find restaurants, shops, tobacconists a great little area. A week was not really enough to see it all. Market is on Tuesdays. The main roads are brand new, directions easy and well signed, supermarket sol back to the main road at roundabout turn right, Mercadona not easy to get to by car but has an underground car park. On getting there head for the parador, it's the roundabout after. Burriana beach apartments sign is displayed high up(on arrival). So much to do so much to see, an excellent choice all round. The 5 day forecast for the area was wrong, said rain and cloud, it was hot hot hot, lovely.
