The private swimming pool is equipped with sunloungers, patio table, sun umbrella and chairs. The spacious lounge includes a T.V. (English Channels) Radio/CD Player, sofas & chairs. Dining table & 6 chairs, . The large equipped fitted kitchen includes a washing machine, microwave, slow cooker, full oven, toaster, kettle, ironing board and iron. There are 2 bathrooms; one on the ground floor along with a twin bedroom. The marble staircase leads up to the first floor with 2 twin bedrooms and shower room. The second terrace is off the master bedroom. There is a lovely communal swimming pool in the complex garden. A pleasant 25 minute walk along the beach takes you into Nerja Town. Parking is available right outside the Villa. An ideal location for your holidays.

Places of Interest

The Alhambra Palace is only 1 hour 45 minutes from the Villa, in Granada Province. It is the finest and best conserved mediaeval Arab Palace in the world. The architecture and gardens of the Moorish Palace date back to 1333 and are breathtaking. Water features play a large part in the garden architecture and are fed by irrigation from the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Tiled and carved arches dominate the building. There is a very interesting round Roman cemetery at Sayalonga, just 20 minutes from the Villa. In Malaga you can visit the Picasso Museum, Alcazaba Fortress and the Alameda Gardens. The fantastic stalagmites in the Nerja Caves were formed over millions of years ago. An orchestra and opera perform during the Festival in August. The typical whitewashed Moorish Village of Frigliana lies perched on lofty crags just 5 kilometres from Nerja. Donkeys carry their loads through the narrow upward winding streets which are too small to take vehicles.

Beaches/Golf/Walks/Diving

There are a number of small secluded coves just 5 minutes walk down from the Villa. The main beach is Burriani. It is a sandy beach and there are a number of restaurants to choose from on the walkway. On Saturday and Sunday huge pans of paella are cooked outside on enormous log fires. Musicians stroll the prom playing their instruments. You can book diving trips from here. Further beaches skirt Nerja town. Baviera 18 hole Golf Course is just 15 minutes along the coast road. It is a relatively new course. The back 9 are quite challenging with elevated tees and lakes protecting the greens. At present it costs 48 euros for 18 holes. This is half the price of those Golf Courses to the west of Malaga! Golf Buggies can be hired if required. Anoreta Golf Course is just 25 minutes drive and Los Moriscos 35 minutes at Salobrena. The Tourist Office on the Balcon will provide you with leaflets for interesting walks in the area.

Eating Out

Just 5 minutes walk down from the Villa there are 2 very nice Restaurants and a small bar with fantastic views from the terrace. The Thatched Roof Restaurant is situated right on the beach. There are many nice restaurants in Nerja Town. Some are set in Courtyards with tropical trees and gardens. Others overlook the Med. You can eat out very cheaply if you look for those establishments offering 'Meal of the Day’. The palm fringed Balcon de Europa is the heart of Nerja and acts as a meeting place for both Spanish and visitors alike. It serves as a gathering point and many performers and artists put on shows and exhibitions, particular on Saturday nights. You can have your portrait painted here or take a horse and carriage ride around Nerja town before your meal. To the side of the Balcon you will find the XV11 century El Salvador Church, constructed in Baroque-Madejar style - steeped in history. There are many bars and restaurants in this area: Spanish, Indian, Chinese and English.
