The new Villa La Bonita Punta Lara was finished in September 2006. We have furnished it to a high standard, it has a private pool, air conditioning, sky HD box with SKY +(full package) in the living room on a plasma and sky TV in every bedroom. WiFi access, i-pod station....It has three good size bathrooms, one en suite. La Bonita Punta Lara has the best views in Nerja they are simply breathtaking. 180 degree views of the mountains and the Med. There is a Yamaha CD player, DVD player and old style video player. open log fire for the winter. AMERICAN style fridge with built in ice machine . We have tried think of you in every way there is even two ironing boards and irons (good ones). In the hotel opposite there is a spa, gym, Turkish bath open to the public The entrance to the villa is on st level. As for the review regarding the road up ..there are two roads up to the villa one being perfect and one being a bit ruff...but just to let you know this rd is only 20 mts long

The villa is situated just on the west side of Nerja at a great location and on one of the best urbanisations in Nerja. there are nearby bars/restaurants. In the hotel opposite there is a supermarket, newsagent gym with spa also a money changing facility... Where is Nerja? it is At the foot of the Sierra Almijara Nevada mountains , approximately 50 km east of Malaga , that is beautiful NERJA on the Costa del Sol. Situated on a rugged headland in an area of sheltered coves with excellent sandy beaches ,overlooking the Mediterranean. Nerja is one of the smaller and more tastefully developed coastal resorts noted for its absence of high-rise hotels and apartment buildings surrounded by some of the most fertile farmland in Spain,where olives,avocados and many other crops grow in abundance. Nerja remains a small unspoiled town.The old part of town is amaze of cobbled streets offering cafes and tapas bars, boutiques and fine shops.

This was a villa with spectacular views, and if you had a family that was happy just to hang out at the pool and admire the view it was perfect. Well furnished, spotless, everything you needed for a restful holiday it contained. There was a representative of the owner on hand to answer any queries and deal with any problems ( we didn't have any) The only drawback was the road up to it. It is an unmade road, very steep and very tight corners to turn into the avenues. Nerja is very close, not to walk to, but a very short taxi ride. Lots of lovely shops and restaurants and a very nice promenade. Property is not really suited to seniors, 60+ .Bedrooms are down stairs and after the hill up ,knees were just a bit creaky!!
Recommended for:  Families with Young Children, Families with Teenagers, Girls Getaway
Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind words regarding how clean our villa was when you arrived, we feel this is so important for our guests and make sure that this is the case all year round.
As for the road up that is cracked its only about 20mts long and soon to be repaired..also there are two ways up to the villa ..the other way being perfect.though slightly longer.
