The completely self-contained and detached 2 story apartment (cottage) is adjacent to our Cortijo or farmhouse. As we live in the cortijo we are always available to assist you and help with any matters that may arise. The apartment boasts a beautiful double bedroom with King Size bed, which leads onto a large roof terrace (with gas barbeque) with beautiful views over the olive groves and village. There is a Futon style sofa bed for an extra guest/child if required and ample room for a cot (provided if required). A modern bathroom with all facilities. Well equipped, kitchen with dining bar and fridge. Living /Television room with comfortable sofas. TV that receives Sky free to air U.K. Channels. Portable Music centre. The apartment is situated in the rolling hills and olive groves of Andalucia, in La Atalaya, a small quiet village just outside the village of Villanueva De Algaidas, which in turn is about twenty minutes from the nearest large town of Antequera, with its shops and 14 churches and approximately one hours drive from Malaga or Granada Airports and 1 1/2 hours Sevilla. Both La Atalaya and VillaNueva De Algaidas are typically Spanish villages where the locals are very friendly and welcoming. Virtually all shopping needs are serviced by the two villages and there are also a number of Tapas and other bars and restaurants. A local market is held every Friday. We require the payment of a security deposit of £100 to cover breakages or other damage that may occur whilst you are at the property. Ski information

The magnificent Sierra Nevada Ski resort is only 1 1/2 hours drive away and it is therefore possible to achieve a full days skiing and return to the apartment in one day. The resort has all the expected ski facilities including equipment hire. Being the most southerly and highest ski resort in Europe it offers skiing from December through March in a normal year. The slopes are above tree line and consist of all levels from nursery slopes to black runs. Ski lessons are available and can be booked on-line or at the resort (subject to availability).

Golf Information:

The beautiful Antequera golf course is set in the Gandia Mountains, which are 650 meters above sea level, surrounded by the spectacular natural park of El Torcal and overlooking the historic City of Antequera. It is an 18 hole course of over 6,000 meters length. Special offers are available to guests in our apartment, please enquire for those available at the time of your holiday. Lessons are available and prices vary according to the package booked, please ask for details.
