Apartamentos Monaco is situated in a small road leading down to the large sandy beach just a minute’s walk away. Next to the beach is the Puerto Marina - home to a wonderful variety of bars, restaurants and shops, and tourist attractions. The apartments all vary in size and accommodation. We have one, two and three bedroom apartments, sleeping 1 - 6 people. The apartments are in the same building so can accommodate large groups of golfers, friends or family.

We have 3 x 2 bedroom apartments. One is ground floor with two twin bedrooms; one is first floor, also with two twin bedrooms and one is first floor with one twin and one single bedroom which is a small room. All the apartments have separate lounge, kitchen and bathroom. There is a sofa bed in each lounge. Either a terrace or balcony.

Benalmadena is 10 km west of Malaga, with very easy access from airport. Our road ends at the beach with no through traffic. The Marina, local facilities and town are just minutes away.

Local area: The apartments are in a perfect location to enjoy the beach and bustling yacht marina, and great for family holidays. The road is only a short walk to shops, a pharmacy, restaurants and bars. For the energetic there are various clubs and discos about 10 minutes away.

Local attractions: Within a very close distance are the wide range of golf clubs on the Costa. Entertainment for the family ranges from historic sites such as Granada and Rhonda or the local Aquapark, Marine Centre and Tivoli World Amusement Park. At the Marina there are dolphin trips and a Sea Life Centre. Local markets are interesting and there is a cable car to take you into the mountains. Shops, restaurants, bars and beach are all within easy walking distance.

The apartments: Monaco is a small friendly 2 storey white washed building in a fabulous location. The apartments all vary in size and set up. Some are ground floor with a terrace, some are first floor with a balcony, some have sea views.

We have just returned from a two-week break at the apartments Monaco. May I just say how pleased we were with the standard of accommodation at apartment number 3, and the location etc was ideal. It was good to meet Mrs Miller, a lovely lady, and the staff from the management company were very courteous and helpful on the day of arrival.
Just returned. Lovely holiday once again, couldn’t wish for better for the price. Apartment very clean as usual. Thanks again for another enjoyable holiday. Will be calling to book for next year soon.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the accommodation. We all had a lovely time and hope to book again in the near future.

Nice clean app. near the beach.

It is a nice little app. no.9 it is very near the beach and the harbour. A little bit old I mean the furniture and kitchen, but it was nice clean.

there is one true great thing about this property.. its location. literally minutes from the beach, marina & 24 hour square. although as a young traveller i would urge any young females to take the road which leads to the beach but in the other direction towards the 24 hour square and main road at night as spanish men seemed to lurk up the other street, walking or in their cars. also up this street is a lidl's which is really cheap for drink & essentials! bottle of vodka €3.99, cheapest rose wine €0.65 ! the room (apartment 10) was really spacious and could have easily accomodated another 2-3 people on top of me & my friend.
i would also like to remind everyone that there is no maid within your stay, well not within my stay of one week, so cleaning is necessary & wise to hang the towels out on the balcony to keep them a little bit fresh!
the only dowside about these apartments is if you're going for late nights & thinking of bringing some people back to your apartment.. forget it! you have to sneak in at night really quietly & we once, regrettably, had a few people back for a drink with music on.. we got an absolute hammering from the neighbours the next day (plus, the walls are paper thin, i'm told, so you can hear EVERYTHING). you have to pass through 2 of the neighbours balconys to get out so let's just say the rest of the stay was very uncomfortable & like living with your gran & grandad next door!! so i dont think i would be returning with a group of young friends, better stay for older couples or families.
otherwise, benalmadena is an amazing place to be & these apartments were cheap, secure & great location to everything. had an amazing holiday!!

p.s. at 24 hour square, almost evrywhere u go u get buy 1 get one free with drinks & a free cocktail or shot so 6 drinks for €14!

Small simple easy living ...

good location, 90 m to the beach, apartement : furniture was old fashioned, some things we´d maissed (specialy in the kitchen), TV had no satellite signal, electricity adaptor was english (sorry we´re germans and and the one and only adapter didn´t worked for some cabels), cleaning should be done better, - but also we had a great time with beautiful weather, so we sing : "It´s simply (close to) the best..." - but please owners : make it better !!!

Owner's Response: Lovely to know that it's 'close to the best'! The furniture in this particular apartment where this family stayed, had just been replaced in the lounge with a new sofa bed and new whicker/bamboo armchairs. This was done the week before this family stayed and so I can't understand the comment about it being 'old fashioned'. The bedroom furniture is pine. TV receives UK satellite channels - BBC etc. Kitchen has gas hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron.
