The Don Joaquin complex is only 15 minutes by taxi from Malaga Airport (cost 25 Euros) Car hire can easily be arranged with use of your own secure parking area at the apartments The apartment is situated in a quiet old Villa Avenue only 10 minutes walk from The World Famous ‘Puerto Marina‘ where you will find restaurants to suit all tastes, bars to enjoy a lazy drink and music to dance the night away. The beach is about 15 min walk from the apartment. You are also close to the Aqua park, and Tivoli world, which is an entertainment complex for young people. There is a regular bus service, bus stop 5 mins walk, which will bring you anywhere from Malaga to Marbella.

  • Getting to the apartment is easy, taxis from the airport are plentiful, and cost about E20, and takes about 15 mins. You will be met at the apartment with the keys, and will be shown how to use all the facilities of the apartment.

    20% DISCOUNT FOR ALL BOOKINGS IN EXCESS OF TWO WEEKS FOR THE MONTHS OF JAN, FEB & MAR.
  • All bookings are from Sun to Sun in the high season. Flexibility allowed in the low season. Arrivals 2pm departures 10am.
    30% booking deposit required to confirm booking, balance 2 months before arrival.
    A security deposit of £150 required, which will be refunded within one week of departure.
  • Payment can be in Euro or Sterling.

There is plenty to do in the area. Tivoli park for example, which is a centre of entertainment mainly for the young, and a cable car to the top of the mountain. There is also the Aqua park less than 10 mins by taxi. You have the usual beach side entertainment, jet skiing etc.Night life is interesting, with great bars & restaurants to suit any age group. there is a long promenade from the Marina all the way to Torremolinos, which is full of all types of artistry,shops, restaurants & bars. The World famous Marina. where there are numerous restaurants and bars within walking distance of the apartment.

There are a number of excellent supermarkets, Lidl & SuperSol for all your Self catering needs & a very large Street market on Fridays behind Arroyo train station.

The local train station El Pinnino will take you directly into Malaga for a day at the Piccasso museum & City festivals.

A large well equipped apartment, as described, fantastic views, a well furnished balcony for afternoon sun bathing, well kept grounds, good location close to the marina and Arroyo. ,Thanks to Colin and Lorraine for your help,will recommend.

A MERRY CHRISTMAS HAD BY ALL

A quiet location for this great sized apartment well equiped, in a good location with great views, close to the fantastic marina and the village of Arroyo.
Easy access for public transport if required.
Two spacious bedrooms ( with very clean beds/linen and plenty of it)
The lounge is very comfortable with a private well furnished balcony.
We hired a car, a plus is the apartment has plenty of secure parking.
Great chinese restaurant at the bottom of the hill - a good 3 course meal for 4.5 euros.

This property is as described and was only 10 min walk down the hill to marina and a 10 min walk up the hill to the centre of Arryo de meil, it was a great location to get around with restaurants and shops not being too far. The property does sit on a small hill which was fine for us but if not so mobile mind not find it so easy.
There is also a pack in the property with leaflets and suggestions of places to go and eat.
If were coming to the area again would book this property again.

Really lovely apartment, spacious, clean, all mod-cons, lovely view - couldn't fault it. Lounge and dining area is very large and well furnished, and the balcony is very private and ideal for a spot of afternoon sunbathing as it gets full sun. 2 good sized twin bedrooms and two very nice bathrooms. Kitchen has everything you need. The apartment is so nice in fact we only ate out 3 times in a week as it was a shame to leave it! The pool is very nice and clean (if a little cold - but it was October!) and not a hassle to get to. Great location in a quiet residential street just up from the fantastic marina. Great location - train station, bus stops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants etc are all within easy walking distance (though the apartment block is halfway up a hill) Could easliy live in a place like this - will definately hire again! Thank you for a lovely holiday home...

Hot and Fabulous !

If you want to have a terrific holiday in a luxurious penthouse apartment then this is it. The weather was super hot but we were kept cool in this marbled floored spacious apartment with its high ceilings and views across the town, hills and coast around Benalmadena. We spent a lot of time on the balcony where there was space for all four of us to hang out, sunbathe, relax and eat and drink. We were so content that for the first two days we stayed in the local area cooking in the spotlessly clean kitchen, full of all mod cons or taking long baths or showers in the modern bathrooms. The master bedroom has a huge ceiling to floor wardrobe - an absolute joy - and a lovely little balcony.We enjoyed exploring and discovered some gorgeous beaches with very reasonably priced beach restaurants with fresh fish cooked on charcoal, tapas, salads and fresh fruit and vegetables and lashings of rioja.Benalmadena is very lively at night with some great little cocktail bars. A real family atmosphere so great for teenagers and well as little 'uns. We can't wait to go back next year !
