The apartments are frontline to a beautiful secluded beach ( Torremuelle Playa) on the western outskirts of Benalmadena approx 5 mins. by bus from the centre of Benalmadena and 5 mins. from Fuengirola. There are several restaurants, bars, 2 supermarkets ( one is KWIK SAVE ), a railway station, hairdresser, car hire and hotels with live entertainment nearby. The train station is approx. 8 mins. walk. The train takes you into Arroyo, Malaga, the airport, Torremolinos or, in the other direction to Fuengirola. Torremuelle is a quiet suburb of Benalmadena within close proximity to bustling holiday towns without the immediate noise. Within walking distance there are 4 coved beaches to choose from. There are further bars and restaurants offering great seafood dishes on the beaches (known as 'Chiringuitos'). The Playabonita Hotel is nearby with bars and a restaurant with a 24 hour reception, which is useful for taxis. The larger Benalmadena beaches are approx. 5 mins. by bus or car.

Wish we were there!

I have just read the last review and feel it to be totally unfair i would like to say just how much we enjoyed ourselves and found the apartment to be very clean and the owners very helpful.

Our first impression of the apartment was of course the fantastic view, but the most pleasing surprise was the homely feeling that the came across as soon as we walked in. The local shop is a 2minute walk away and has everything you need, the apartment is in a lovely quiet area which is exactly what we were looking for, and if you are looking for a good day or night out there are bus stops on both sides of the road with buses about every half hr to Fenguirola and Benalmadena, it takes no time at all to get to these places where you will find plenty of nice restaurants, shops, bars and lovely beaches.

There are two very good restaurants less than a minute walk away from the apartment, there is one at the top of some steps which you may not see, but is definately worth going to, although we unfortunately, only discovered on the last night.

I can not fault the owners, we met Barbara on our first day, she was extremely helpful, and gave us good information about the location and made us feel very welcome. They were only a text or phonecall away and although we did not need to contact them during our stay, we would not have hesitated to call them had we needed to. The apartment itself has everything you need, the kitchen is full of all the essentials needed for a self catering holiday, the living room is cosy, and comes equipt with a DVD player and English freeview. The bedroom is a great size and the bed is extrememly comfy!!

Overall we had a fantastic time, and will definately come back to visit in the future. Thank you!

The studio apartment was adequate for us for a week, 2 adults and 3 children although it was a little tired looking , the beds were comfortable, the bedlinen and towels were clean and generally the cleanliness of the apartment was good.We could also watch Eastenders which the kids were pleased about!! The view from our balcony was fantastic, the pool area and beach was clearly visable for us to keep an eye on the kids. The pool area and pools were kept immaculate and security within the complex was excellant.We ate every night in the Lucenna restaurant around the corner, we found it a reasonable cost and a good meal. The supermarkets were only a 2 minute walk away. Barbara was very good and on one occasion we had to call her as the toilet door decided to lock us out and she responded immediatly.This complex is ideal for a quiet relaxing break away from it all ,which is what we wanted. The kids had a great time and made loads of friends, there were a lot of Spanish families staying there, which didnt bother us and the kids also got on ok with them.I would have liked to have had a sun bed , particularly for my mother in law who is 72, who found it difficult to get up from the lawn, although there were sunbeds chained up by the pool , they were only for the residents we were told? On the whole we had a great time and would return to the same place again .A lovely location for a quiet holiday.We miss waking up to the sound of the sea !!!!

Paradise from a distance of 30 feet!

The apartment is quite basic but very comfortable with all the normal facilities you have at home (including a cassette player!!) The view and the location are absolutely outstanding - it makes you feel like you own the beach! It feels safe and secure and the only thing that will keep you awake at night is the sound of the waves crashing onto the shore approximately 30 feet away. The little beach bar is friendly and incredibly reasonably priced.
I would recommend this apartment (with all my heart) if you are looking for a great price in a brilliant location for a peaceful, relaxing holiday. The main towns are easy to get to on the bus and taxis are easy to get from the nearby hotels or restaurants. If you are looking for nightlife that you can walk to, this is not for you - if you are looking for tranquility, beauty and amazing value for money this is it!
I loved it - Barbara was the loveliest hostess and even picked us up from the airport.

I will be booking next year.

well situated appartment in Torremuelle

The appartment is well equipped and has a beautiful view on the swimmings pools as well as the beach. From Torremuelle you can make trips to several historic places like Sevilla, Ronda and Malaga.
The services we received were very good and customer friendly.

Lovely clean apartment with all the modern conveniences you need for a relaxing break.

There may not be a great deal of choice in the village but there's everything you need. You can easily use the excellent bus and train service (both very cheap and clean) if you want to visit nearby bigger resorts and you don't need to speak Spanish!

The satellite TV meant we were able to Wake up with Wogan and keep up with local news and sport (as well as the soaps, if you are into that!)

And, finally, the best bit of all - the only noises we heard were the sea and the birds and an occasional motor scooter. We loved the gentle breeze from the sea cooling the sun in the blue skies and enjoyed watching the local fishermen and snorkellers so, if you are into that, bring your gear and search out your own seafood!
