Set in Mi Jardin, Casa Bonita has lots to offer the holiday maker. Mi Jardin is a small Andalusian urbanization having its own communal gardens and swimming pool but for beach lovers you are only short walk or drive from a safe, sandy bay. The apartment has a wonderful view of the sea from the terrace There are numerous shops, bars and restaurants within a few minutes drive of Casa Bonita. It is approximately 20 minutes drive from the airport so taxi transfer costs only about 25 euro. This accommodation is ideal for families with small children, older couples looking for a peaceful retreat and anyone else who wants to get away from it all.

Location and transport: Casa Bonita is perfectly located in a beautiful setting less than 1 km from a safe and sandy beach. This can be reached on foot (about 12 minutes) or by car. There are numerous shops, bars and restaurants within a few minutes drive of the property. For those who prefer to use public transport, there is a local bus service running between the award-winning Marina and the Pueblo. The nearest bus stop is just a few minutes walk and the train station is approximately 15 minutes walk. From here, trains run to Malaga and to Marbella every 20 minutes.

Attractions and sight-seeing: Malaga, with its shops and airports, can be reached by car or train in about 20 minute. Fuengirola also has an excellent range of shops and is only minutes away by car. Marbella is a 20 minute drive away. The award-winning Marina is a short car ride away as are Sea World, Selwo Dolphin park, Tivoli World fun park and La Paloma Park. Closer still is the traditional Spanish Pueblo (village) of Benalmadena, with its tapas bars and cobbled streets. The beautiful village of Mijas is a 20 minute drive and Granada can also be easily reached (about 90 minutes drive). There are approximately 12 golf courses within easy reach.

Despite having a difficult time finding the apartment, once there we were all very impressed. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The apartment has all necessary amenities. Very Charming and lots of character! Yes, you need a vehicle and to be able to manage alot of stairs (good cardio workout) but how else could you enjoy such great sea views! Best apartment in the compound. The Burnetts are great people and easy to communicate with. Neighbors are charming and the pool and neighboring park very beautiful.There is a nice lady who run a little store where she can lend a hand with information and there is an accessible pay phone for those without cells. TV channels plentiful, with DVD, CD player, books to read, and an informational folder on great nearby places to visit. Easy to reach pretty much anywhere you'd like to visit along the Coast. We would recommend this apartment to anyone who asked! Thanks again to Mr & Mrs Burnett and LynneChristina, Nasser, BonnieJean and Barbara

Peaceful retreat.

The flat provided spacious , comfortable accommodation in a quiet , secluded area. All amenities were adequate and functional.
Car hire is a must , even to access the local supermarket. Easy access to the upper motorway and lower carriageway allowed us to explore the many towns and villages along this coast.
Owner was considerate and responsive.

The apartment is very graceful, in a position in which the view he is indeed unforgettable. We have not found it cleaned, and we have employed average day in order to clean up it.
The siepe around the balcony we have found it uncultivated and not cured, the shower cannot be made in two, although there are two bathrooms, because the warm water did not arrive to the two bathrooms. The electricity was extinguished every time that the phon was ignited for the hair, and many light bulbs in the apartment are not changed before our arrival and they have not worked. The disappointment to find it dirty and so stinking has been too much!
It would more have to be attention to these things!

Owner's Response: I am very surprised by these comments. My very first priority is always cleanliness followed by helpfulness to our guests. No reports of any of these problems or any others were made by these guests during their stay. Checks following this review found no faulty light bulbs, no problem with the hot water, and no indication that the usual high standard of cleanliness for which other guests have often commented was not maintained. Other remarks I do not understand except the walk back from beach which is pointed out to guests who are not hiring a car. These guests only spoke Italian which involved some difficulty in communication but does not account for the inexplicable remarks.

Beautiful and peacful

We've just returned from Casa Bonita after a lovely holiday. The apt was very spacious and clean and we wanted for nothing. The setting of Mi Jardin was beautiful, very well maintained and a lovely large pool. The sea view from the apt was stunning. We would definitely recommend this property.

When i booked this apartment, i thought it was so far from the beach but not at all, it's just a ten minutes walk from that place. The apartment is located in some kind of typical village, really lovely and you will never forget the nice view you have from the balcony. It's also very comfortable and peaceful, surrounded by flowers, a real paradise. You'll hate to leave! You have a supermarket nearby and can cook everything you want. The apartment is very clean.
