Top floor apartment (2nd floor) situated on secure complex of Arenal Golf Phase 3 overlooking the golf course. Arenal golf is located between the Benalmadena Pueblo and Arroyo de la Miel areas of Benalmadena. This is a brand new(completed Dec 2006) 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms apartment with all modern conveniences and air conditioning. This includes a spacious Living/ Dining room with Satellite TV/ DVD, kitchen with all facilities and a balcony/ patio area. The main bedroom has an en suite bathroom and an additional shower room is present as well. The apartment is within easy access to a relaxing community pool. It is ideally located for exploring the Benalmadena area and is situated between Torremolinos, Fenguriola and the hillside village of Mijas. Malaga airport is only 10 minutes away.

Benalmadena is situated on the Costa-del Sol between Torremolinos and Fuengirola. It is made up of three different centres, Benalmadena Pueblo, Arroya De la Miel and Benalmadena Costa. Benalmadena Pueblo is a typical white washed Andalusia village and boasts outstanding views of the landscape and coastline. Arroya de la Miel is situated about 1km inland, and has many restaurants, cafes, bars and an array of shops. It also has a railway station with connections to Malaga and Fuengirola including commuter stops at Torremolinos and Malaga Airport. Popular attractions Tivoli World Fun Park and the Teleferico cable car to Mount Calmorro, more than 600 metres high, are also to be found in the village. Benalmadena Costa is the coastline of the area, and boasts the Puerto Marina which has twice won the 'Best Marina in the World' award. There is also a wealth of shops bars, restaurants boutiques and a sea life centre. There are also several golf courses, watersports, and a casino nearby.

How to Get There: Many budget airlines fly into Malaga Airport, inc EasyJet, Monarch, Thomsonfly, Ryanair, Flybe from local airports throughout the country. The property is located on Phase 3 of the Arenal Golf complex in Benalmadena, between Benalmadena Pueblo and Arroyo de la Miel. Follow signs for the N340 Motorway (Torremolinos) from airport turning off Motorway at Arroya de la Miel / Benalmadena junction 222. Follow signs for Arenal 2000 or newly built Xanit International Hospital, which is opposite the entrance gates to Phase 1 of Arenal Golf. Journey time 10 min approx. Trains service the Malaga - Fuengirola line stopping at airport and Arroya de la Miel every half hour from 07.00 am to 11.00pm and is fairly inexpensive. Taxis available outside Arroya train station to Arenal Golf. Taxi from Airport to Benalmadena costs about 25-30 euros. Car hire recommended so you can explore the area.

The Area: Local buses are available behind the apartment block and on the main road to Mijas and the Benalmadena Costa / Pueblo / Arroya de la Miel and is very inexpensive. Excursions to Rhonda, Seville, Grandada, Mijas, and Gibraltar are available from Benalmadena town. Local attractions include, Tivoli World Fun Park, Teleferico Cable Car to Mount Calmorro, La Polama Park, Puerto Marina, Sea Life Centre, Casino, various museums and monuments, plus a wealth of shops, restaurants, bars and boutiques to suit all ages and tastes. There are also several water parks in the region, and market days in most resorts.

Golf: The complex is built around a brand new 18 hole par 3 course (not yet open!). However, right opposite the entrance to the complex is another par 3 golf course, Benalmadena Golf, with club house, driving range, bar and restaurant facilities. Additionally, it is 5 minutes away from the famous Torrequebrada Golf Resort, 18 hole Par 72. Plus there are many, many more courses within easy reach around the Costa del Sol..

Had a great holiday, lovely apartment in a quiet location suitable for young families, supermarket near-by, bus service on site was very good for getting around as we didn't hire a car, Highly recommended

We rented the apartment for a week in July. The apartment was excellent and pool area was fantastic for the kids. Lots to do for families, Tivoli World being a great hit with the kids. We didn't hire a car and found it okay (buses ran regular). A definate must is visiting the village of Benalmadena Pueblo we found it on last day and was gutted; wished we had visited on the first day it's beautiful.
All transactions ran smoothly with Phil and hope to book again for next summer.
