A beach lover's dream apartment complex, Mi Capricho is right on the beach in Calahonda, one of the most successful beach front properties in the area. This front line beach complex has four blocks strategically located around large kidney shaped swimming pools. Situated in the heart of Calahonda with access directly off the main N340 road which links Malaga with the Marbella area of the Costa Del Sol. Shop, restaurants, bars and entertainment are all within walking distance from the resort. Two large kidney shaped swimming pools are the centre piece of the resort. The resort also has kiddie pool, underground parking for all guests and has a beach front tiki bar in high season subject to license. Calahonda is popular for its array of shopping, and local markets conveniently located just a walk from the resort. The area is also most famous for its selection of restaurants and evening entertainment.

Conditions: Sorry, no groups of single males / females. Mi Capricho is a quiet family complex with beautiful maintained communal areas and landscaped gardens. A condition of all bookings is that you respect the property and other residents (both permanent residents and other holiday makers) by adhering to the community rules.

On arrival to Mi Capricho appartments, the view took my breath away. It was just as advertised (not somrthing I have come to rely on in the past!). Nicole was very bubbly and pleasant. She provided us with some great information. On day 2 of the holiday we had a problem with 1 of the reclining chairs, Nicole was at hand to sort it out. We requested a second set of keys of which she went away and dealt with within a couple of hours. It was nice to know that should you have any issues she was there to deal with them. Alan made it very easy to book this appartment and again provided great info. The parking spot was right outside of the appartment', ideal. All in all, a superb place with a fantastic view. I have already started saving for my next trip!

We enjoyed our week at the end of the summer season when the kids were back at school. Lazy days in the very warm sun at the Luna Beach chirranghito which is a short walk along the beach.
Lovely, spacious, comfortable apartment with direct access to the pool and the beach yards away.
Cabopino, less than a mile along the beach, has some great restaurants in an exclusive location.
All in all, a great week and we'd recommend it for all age groups

Great apartment in an excellent location

This is the second time that my family has stayed in this location in 3 years, the first time in the owners three bed apartment and as the kids are now 3 & 5 this time we stayed in the two bed apartment. The apartment is furnished well and has everything that you need. The complex is secure, safe with lovely gardens and there is plenty of room around the large swimming pool to relax along with the privacy of your own garden. A poolbar that offers drinks and snacks is open till around 7pm. There are gates that lead onto the beach and a local beach bar for a snack. There are plenty of local restaurants if you fancy a bite to eat, local supermarkets that have a great range of fresh food the fish counter is very good. A low cost bus service is also avaiable a few minutes walk away to Marbella and fuengirola. I would not hesitate in recommending this apartment to anyone, we are just in the process of re-booking ourselves for 2010.

Mi Capricho Luxury Front Line Beach Ground Floor

We have just returned from a two week break. It was our third time at this particular complex but previously we have stayed in the owner's two bed apartment previously. We have a young son age 3) with another baby on the way and we find Mi Capricho perfect for our needs. The complex is quiet with lovely gardens and there is plenty of room around the large swimming pool to relax along with the privacy of your own garden which comes in handy with a toddler in tow. All amenities are just a very close walk away and we have not even needed to rent a car as there buses and taxis nearby which can get you around at quite reasonable rates should you venture further afield. The apartment is clean, spacious, very secure and has everything in it that you need. I find the owner particularly helpful and easy to deal with, as he is always prompt in answering e-mails and is very keen to ensure that your holiday experience is an enjoyable one. The best indication I can give of our high level of satisfaction is that we have already contacted the owner to book a three week holiday for 2010.

Superb apartment with wonderful view

We had an absolutely wonderful holiday. Weather over Easter was great albeit slightly windy. The apartment (3 bed) has arguably the best location available, with half a dozen steps down to the poolside and a view par excellence over the Med.Nicole sent me a text as soon as I landed at Malaga and met us at the apartment. She was an excellent ambassador, very helpful and pleasant. Very easy to get to Calahonda from airport.. would recommend hiring a car. Complex was secure and safe, also very peaceful and quiet. Inside the apartment itself was scrupulously clean and had all you needed. Pool was lovely, not too cold and the poolside bar was a welcome addition with drinks and snacks.
In summary it was a wonderful holiday, I would not hesitate to recommend going here, even out of season. It has lived up to all the reviews, of which I am ususally sceptical, but not in this case. A great holiday.. We will be going back.
