This beautiful contemporary apartment is situated in one of the most sought after and prestigious areas in Calahonda. There are two terraces, a large wrap-around sun terrace to the front of the apartment which looks out over the valley and out to sea, and a small terrace to the rear of the apartment which looks out over the pond and gardens. This impressive apartment is completely contemporary and presented to a very high standard. There is private underground parking via remote access and lift or stairs direct to the apartment. There are two lovely swimming pools complete with loungers and canopies, and lush tropical gardens that are meticulously maintained throughout. The area is well established with good restaurants, bars and shops and is perfectly situated for the 30+ Golf courses in the Costa area. The beautiful beaches of La Cala and Puerto Cabopino are just a short 5 minute drive away with the lively and energetic towns of Marbella & Puerto Banus some 15-20 minutes by car.

Calahonda is a peaceful residential town situated on a large hillside with the pretty beaches of Cabopino and La Cala at it's base. The apartment is located at the top of the hill with beautiful views over the valley and out to the sea. The apartment is about 25-30 minutes from Malaga airport via a new well sign-posted toll road off of the motorway which will take you directly into Calahonda. The local amenities include several restaurants & bars, three supermarkets, a chemist, video and dvd hire, a garden centre, medical centre, ATM's and a bank. From the apartment a 15 minute drive will bring you into the sophisticated Marbella with it's numerous shops, restaurants & bars and the wonderful Marbella beach, and don't forget the traditional Old Town - Casa Antiguo - which is enchanting. For more glamour & fun, a further 10 minute drive will bring you to Puerto Banus and it's designer shops, boutiques and spectacular marina.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Please enquire for discounted rates which are available for long term bookings. As well as the above rates, an additional £100.00 or 150.00 Euros will be required as a 'damage deposit', this will need to be paid on the balance due date and refunded on the provision no damage was caused during the letting period. Bed and bathroom linen are provided, but please bring your own beach towels. The above rates include cleaning of the apartment before and after your visit, however, for a small extra charge, arrangements can be made for a mid-stay clean and change of linens. Please note that for visits of 6 nights or less, an additional £55 or 80 euros is payable directly to the housekeeper.
  • To secure the apartment for your holiday, we would require an initial deposit of 50% with the balance payable at least 8 weeks prior to your travel date. Bookings made with less than 8 weeks notice must be paid in full. Please note that normal check-in time is 13:30hrs or after and checkout by 10:00hrs.

Notes: Please note that the apartment is on the 1st floor and has a lovely large sun terrace with table & chairs for lounging and dining. Towels are provided for use in the apartment only, please provide your own beach towels. An iron, ironing board and juicer are also provided. Along with Satellite TV, which cover all BBC channels, there is a Video & DVD store (21st Century) at the base of Calahonda, which can provide all the latest movies. The swimming pools come complete with loungers, showers and toilet facilities. Although there are no tennis courts within the grounds, Club Del Sol is just a few minutes down the hill. Here they have 7 brand new clay courts, 5 Plexi Courts, a gym, squash, saunas & jacuzzis. For car rental, Michael Denny will be happy to provide you with preferential rates. Beaches:: La Cala and Puerto Cabopino are lovely sandy beaches with beautiful clear water and have some very good places to eat and drink. Cabopino also has a lovely marina, sand dunes and is a Nationally protected area. A short drive down the road, Marbella has a variety of beaches as does the exclusive and world famous marina of Puerto Banus where you can charter sail boats, speed boats, cruisers and jet skiis.

Golf:: When Valderrama was chosen to host the Ryder Cup in 1997, the Costa del Golf received universal recognition as the finest golf resort in Europe. Here are just a few of the academies and courses available in the area: Valderrama, Greenlife Golf Academy in the Elviria Hills behind Marbella, the testing Cabopino Golf laid out by Spanish architect Juan Ligues, Santa Clara, La Cañada, the municipal course near Valderrama, Los Flamingos which takes its name from the Los Flamencos lake around which Chamberlain & Turner have laid out their 18-hole design and Baviera Golf in Velez which enjoys magnificent panoramic sea and mountain views.

Other Activities: Skiing in the Sierra Nevada mountains is just 100 miles away and is about 1.5hrs drive from the apartment.

We had a fantastic holiday thanks to your beautiful apartment. When we walked in we couldnt believe how nice it was and it was so clean and tidy. It had everything we needed and was definitly a 5* apartment. L Hirst.

This really is a fantastic apartment, we've been back several times now and fully intend to go back again this year. The apartment is beautifully kept and enjoys some wonderful views from the master bedroom and lounge. The swimming pools are excellent and the nearby beach at Cabopino is fantastic with very good and well organised parking. The tip for Andy's beach bar is spot on and having Marbella and Puerto Banus within a very easy commute was and is a bonus. We love this particular area of Spain, the commute from the UK is very easy and the familiarity with the apartment is very good for us and the children. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone.
