Home from Home:
Our apartment is a real home from home with all you could need for the perfect holiday and with the added benefit of sun, sea, swimming pool 10 metres from the door etc etc. Guests return to this part of the Costa year after year.
The Aqua park at Fuengirolla is a ten minute drive. Funny Beach carting is on the Marbella side which is a 15 min drive.There is a zoo in Fuengirolla and Tivoli World entertainment is also located in Fuengirolla. For the more adventurous take the Cable Car from Benalmadena to the top of the mountain, the view is spectacular and of a clear day you can see the coast of Africa. There are 15 golf courses within a 10 mile radius, the nearest one being Miraflores which is within walking distance.
Take a day trip to Tunisia or Gibraltar and avail of the many duty free offers, or see the monkeys at the top of the rock. And for the very brave take the winding mountain road to Ronda which is one of the original white villages of Andalucia.
Although Riviera del Sol is one of the quieter areas on the Costa del Sol there are many restaurants within walking distance of the apartment. Within 50mtrs at the back of the complex there are 4 restaurants to include, Indian, Italian and a superb steakhouse. There is also a supermarket at this centre. 3 mins by car takes you to the centre of the urbanisation of Rivieria. Again here you will find a selection of bars and restaurants and a larger supermarket and shops. For those of you who like cosmopolitan life you will find MAX beach restaurant and bar on the beach side of Riviera. We personally like Gorges Bar in Riviera del Sol which, even though it is Spanish owned and run has the feel of home about it and we always get a great welcome from Gorge and the staff.
Riviera del Sol, Costa del Sol, Spain sits on the coast midway between Marbella and Fuengirola. Riviera del Sol is situated only a few minutes drive from the new A7 motorway access and the national coast road the A7 (formerly the N-340), allowing access to Malaga Airport in 25 minutes. Riviera del Sol runs down to the beach and is adjacent to Calahonda.
Riviera del Sol is a mixed residential and holiday area enjoying every facility and services needed to enjoy life comfortably. Banks, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, chemist and a health centre are all at hand.
Riviera del Sol has its own golf course, golf school, tennis club, lawn bowls club and numerous golf courses and many other sports facilities are within 10 minutes drive.
Bus routes lead to all areas and there are bus stops either side of the A7 (N340) main road going to Marbella and Fuengirola. The new Costa del Sol Hospital is 10 minutes drive away.

Within a ten minute drive there are several courses from which to choose.
Santa Maria is approx 10 mins away towards the Marbella direction. La Cala with its spectacular courses is about 15 mins drive towards the mountains and for the less ambitious the Green Life par three course near Marbella is one of the most well kept on the Costa with the best greens I have ever seen.
