This lovely apartment not only has the benefit of being so centrally located that all amenities are within minutes walking distance including beach, shops, restaurants, bus and train station - the apartment has also a magnificent spacious glassed in terrace where you can eat drink, sunbathe and enjoy the wonderful panoramic view from the sea to the mountains (watch the sunset every evening. the kitchen recently has been completely renewed as has the fully tiled bathroom. The block has 24hr central air conditioning/heating and hot water . The cable TV system( 60 channels) gives choice of Spanish, Dutch, French, German, English programmes(includes most UK channels)there is a reception desk in hall with porter if you need help.

Fuengirola is situated at the heart of the costa del Sol with a 7 kms beach and Paseo with a huge variety of cafes, bars, retaurants to choose from. Marbella is to the West and Benalmadena, Torremolinos and the provincial capital to the East. There is a half hourly train service to Malaga (45mins) calling at Benalmadena, Torremolinos, airport..There are daily excursions to Gibraltar, Sevilla, Cordoba. Granada and Morrocco.

Rental rates.: We offer a discount for late bookings made within a week of arrival. Winter bookings are welcome and will attract a discount if over a month-the rental will include heating,electricity and hot water. Fuengirola is a lovely town with 5 miles of sandy beaches and has something to offer all ages. The magnificent promenade has recently been widened the entire length of the beach for that all important evening stroll!! The main square is a great place to just meet, shop at the local shops or just pass time with a drink at the cafes. The local Feria ground hosts 2 markets on eac Tuesday and Saturday - the Saturday one being a flea/car-boot type market.

Local amenities.: There are a number of golf courses close by to Fuengirola but you would need a car to reach them or taxi other attractions like the zoo, Tivoli gardens, Miramar Centre can be reached by foot or public transport. Apart from all the usual beach water sports Fuengirola has an Aqua Park with all the slides and also boasts its own Zoo. There are many Golf courses in the area to suit all skills, but obviously you will need a car /taxi to reach them. On the excursion front there are daily trips to Seville, Granada, Cordoba, Gibraltar ands even Tanger in North Africa. There is the Selwood Safari Park and Selwood Marina further along the coast. Malaga can be reached by the local half hourly train service (45mins).

Just returned from 10 day in this apartment Oct. 2009. Nice hot weather 28 degrees every day. No air conditioning !! It gets turned off at the end of Sept. This is not stated in the advertising. I would not have booked this apartment if I had known. We had 2 floor standing room fans !! The oven and grill is a small worktop combi thing and it has burnt on food in it. The hob is just 2 rings. The kitchen work top was greasy with drips of something down the front of the cupboards. We had to wash stains from cups and glasses before we could use them. The table on the balcony was broken...(Robert was there when I leaned on it to look at the view and my hand went through the table cloth. He dismissed it and said "Oh, well, never mind, there is another table in the living room") We found an old wooden table top in one of the wardrobes to place over the top of the broken one, which we then covered with the plastic flowery table cloth that has cigarette burns in it. There was plenty of other junk in the bottom of the wardrobe too, along with a single and a double matress propped up against the wall. ( Presumably these replave the broken Z bed ?? ) There seemed to be junk lying around everywhere. The balcony appears very cluttered with cleaning stuff, dirty ironing board, and electric heater in a box (probably the winter heating) and stuff placed on top of it....a broken lamp that is balanced on a stack of tiles. Just generally untidy looking. When we arrived we took our shoes off and walked around bare foot for 10 minutes and our feet were black with dirt from the floor !! The bathroom mirrors were greasy and dirty. The window ledges and blinds on the balcony were thick with dust. The decor is tired and peeling/ripped paper. On a positive note, the fridge was nice and clean. We did see cockroaches and found some spray under the sink which bought about 50 of them crawling out, but we didn't see any more once we decided to leave lights on permenantly. Would I return to this aparment or reccommend it....I think not.

we have just come back from this apt and for the price it was fantastic. it has a lovely kitchen very comfortable sofa bed in lounge area, and a lovely twin bedroom. we took 2 16 yr old boys and the location was excellent. you are right on the beach front and right next to all the shops bars etc. Robert came to meet us and it is a 4 minute walk from the train station probably 2 mins to the bus station, would def reccomend this if you want value for money and not expecting 5* accomodation. it is clean and well worth the money, the only problem we had, the pool is fabulous however you get charged 2 euros to use the beds.

I had a very positive experience at this apartment. My girlfriend and I stayed here from the 6th to 13th October 2008. The owner Robert was very helppful and pleasant, he met us at the local train station and escorted us to the apartment which was very clean and tidy. The apartment is located in a great situation the heart of Fuengirola close to the beach, train and bus stations. All facilities with the exception of the cd player where in perfect working order.

Stay here at your own peril!!

Me and 3 friends stayed in this apartment for a week 6-13 September 08. I would not reccomend this property to anyone. The owner is very keen to correspond with you when he is taking money but beware when you get to the resort and you want to tell him about all the things that dont work, are missing or the extra room mates (cockroaches) he doesn't get back to you. The stereo didn't work, there was no light fitting in the living room, the bedroom light flashes on and off constantly, the camp bed is broken, the sofa bed is about to break, the handle on the washing machine was broken and it is not kept to a high standard of cleanliness. When I contacted him about this I got no response. Oh and don't count on watching the tv either as it seems that the owner doesn't pay his bills on time as it was disconnected half way through the week and we had no tv for 2 days. He also decided to buy a new fridge (even thought the fridge was about the only thing in the apartment that worked properly and arranged to have it delivered while we were staying in th apartment.
