Perfect location within minutes of everything. New in 2005 -Kitchen units, hob and cooker replaced. The bathrooms were replaced in 2004. Keeping our standards high is important to us. We started 2009 with work to install air conditioning in the flat and now it is in the lounge and all three bedrooms. This lovely sunny flat was set up as a home for a couple now returned to England. Leather sofas, comfortable beds and a super kitchen are features of a flat chosen for its quiet location. It has cable TV/video with all major English channels and a DVD player. The sunny west facing balcony has a table and chairs for outside dining. The kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, oven, and microwave. Main bedroom is fully en suite. The owners had a hotel in the UK and their quality care in accommodation and customer service got them in the best guides

Notes: There have been no special adaptations for wheelchairs but there is one small step to get in the building and the lift takes you to the first floor. However the garden and pool area are wheelchair inaccessible The flat is part of a residential building and is not suitable for single sex partying groups

Work has finished to fix a new kitchen - see our photos - part of our constant programme to keep standards high. The building is part of an enclosed square of apartment blocks - the square is the only green space marked for central Fuengirola in some maps - and although you are immediately in the ' thick 'of things as you leave the building the immediate neighbourhood doesn't have noisy late night bars or discos Fuengirola has eight kilometres of wide sandy beaches with a protected safe shallow beach one minute away at the end of the road. The shopping is excellent with quality small shops in the town and a new large shopping centre on the outskirts (walkable). Here too are cinemas showing English films. Watersports are a feature at several locations on the beach. There is also the only English Language theatre on the Costa del Sol. The programme usually includes a mix of musicals and plays and many of the performers have appeared in top West End Theatres in England.

Close to the flats is a booking centre for Golf Courses and there are plenty within easy reach. There is secure parking in the basement for hire cars.

The apartment was fantastic, location was excellent.I would highly recomend.If your not used to traffic noise and are a light sleeper take ear plugs as the 2 twin rooms can be a bit noisey.
Only down side was our pre booked Taxi from the airport couldn't find the flat even though we gave him written directions in Spanish ,thoughtfully emailed to me by Graham the owner of flat,we were left in the middle of town to find it ourselves.The taxi never turned up for our return journey to the airport ,so we had to dash and get a local Taxi ,made complaint when got home spoke to Tony manager in U.K. it took them 3 weeks to refund money , THANKS SYKBUS SPAIN!
But please dont let our bad Taxi experience put you off ,the apartment is wonderfull and pics dont do it justice.
Owner's Response: I am taking this up with Skybus who I have always found to be good in the past. I hope it was just an unfortunate glitch.

Great location, appartment is very big by Spanish standards. Balcony was child proof which was a big bonus. Aircon was loverly.
Graham was the perfect owner.
Only downside is the underground parking. Be very carefull if you rent a large car it's a challenge getting down the ramp and parking in the bay.
All in all great place.

You couldn't ask for a better location - the apartment was close to all amenities, bars, restaurants, shops and the beach. We didn't meet the owner but the gentlemen and lady that was there finishing off the cleaning etc were very helpful. The property was nice and clean also. The downside I would say is that the apartment was a little tired looking and would really benefit from a new coat of paint and updating the bedroom furniture - plus the front room smelt quite strongly of stale smoke So we thought it should of mentioned in the description that it is a smoking permitted apartrment.

I have nothing but praise for this apartment,from the welcome pack on arrival to the high quality accommadation
everything is as stated and more. I have stayed there three times and i am hoping to return again this winter,the owner graham is very friendly and will do anything he can.A case in point last winter the microwave broke.i telephoned him in the afternoon and by eleven the next day he arrived with a brand new microwave.I would give this apartment a100% rating and would recommend it to
anyone
