Set in tropical gardens, this apartment is probably, one of the best located on the Los Olivos complex. It has a spacious terrace overlooking the pool with fabulous views of the Mediterranean. In addition to its 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin) it has 2 bathrooms and a fully fitted kitchen with oven hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer. There is a dining area leading to a lounge, which has a TV, video, DVD and CD player. The rear bedroom has a view of Miraflores golf course. There are 2 large pools on the complex. The larger of which is supervised by a lifeguard and the smaller one is for over 16's only. There is also a tiny pool for toddlers. The apartment is within 10 minutes walk of shops, bars and restaurants and within 15 minutes walk of the beach. The Aztec Tennis & Country Club is 5 minutes walk away. Marbella and Puerto Banus are about 10 minutes drive as is an amusement park and a waterpark. The apartment is about 30 minutes drive from Malaga Airport.

The apartment is situated in the Andalucia region, the most southerly part of Spain, which boasts a wonderful climate of 340 days of sunshine per year. Even in winter, temperatures can reach 60 degrees. The area has something to offer everyone, whether you enjoy sightseeing, sports or simply sunbathing. Olde worlde Spain with its Moorish fortresses, craft markets and flamenco combine with water parks, go carting and wonderful restaurants. We have prepared a guest manual for the apartment with lots of ideas of things to do and which also lists dozens of restaurants at a variety of prices for breakfast, lunch and evening meals (with directions on how to get there on foot or by car). Alternatively we provide a gas barbacue if, like us, you would sometimes rather eat on the terrace in the evening and watch the sun go down over the Mediterranean. There are also many excellent golf courses within a short distance of the apartment making the apartment an excellent choice for a golfing holiday

  • A holding deposit of £100 is payable to Mr SD Allen & Ms C Baker on confirmation of booking.
    The balance of payment is due 6 weeks before arrival (payable as above).
    In addition to the balance of payment an additional cheque in the sum of £150 (payable as above) is required by way of a security deposit, which is to cover damage and breakages.
    Please note that in the event that there is no damage or breakages the deposit will be returned to you after your departure.
  • Cancellation refunds:-
    Up to 6 weeks - no cancellation charge,
    4 - 6 weeks - 50% refund,
    2 - 4 weeks - 25 % refund,
    less than 2 weeks - no refund.
  • To allow time for the apartment to be cleaned between guests we ask that you check in after 2.00pm on the day of arrival. If the apartment is not occupied the day before your arrival it may be possible to allow an earlier check in time, please do not hesitate to ask.
    Check out time is 11.00am please.
    Although Saturday is our preferred changeover day, we are prepared to be flexible in less busy periods to accommodate budget flights

Notes: Please note that the apartment is undergoing extensive refurbishment which includes new tiled flooring, new ensuite bathrooms, a new kitchen with built in oven, hob, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and fridge/freezer, new UPVC double glazing and new air conditioning. The apartment is also being completely refurnished with new furniture and new beds. We will put new internal shots of the apartment on this website once the work is completed. The refurbishment work will be completed in January 2010 and our apartment will be ready for rental from February onwards. Beach towels are not provided. The apartment is within easy walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants. A new restaurant has opened at the end of Calle Orion providing drinks and snacks at lunchtime and dinner in the evening (approx 2 mins walk)

Golf:: The twin bedroom overlooks Miraflores Golf Course which is less than 5 minutes by car. The La Cala de Mijas and Calahonda courses are also about 5 minutes drive. Slightly further away (approximately 20 minutes) is Mijas Golf and many other excellent courses which is why this area is also known as 'Costa del Golf'! Our guest manual provides further details of each golf club such as directions, green fees and telephone numbers. It also provides a brief description of each course and some useful tips!

Me and my partner have stayed here 3 times now and its become a real home away from home. The apartment is clean and bright and has everything you need as well as a thoughtful Welcome Pack provided when you get there.

Los Olivos is a beautiful upmarket development in a great location near restaurants and the beach. La Cala is just up the road with its beaches and markets and Marbella a short car journey in the other direction. Golf, shopping and restuarants are all close by.

There are two lovely swimming pools, the larger has a lifeguard on duty all day in the summer, handy if you have younger children. The view from the apartment over the pool towards the sea is stunning.

The kitchen is very well equipped and there is even a barbecue on the balcony.

Carole and Steve have done everything they can to make Los Olivos a fantastic place to stay, I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Every thing about this property is as has it says on the tin, and the owners have thought about every little detail to make it feel home from own.

I stayed in this apartment when I traveled to Marbella for a wedding. The apartment is bright, clean and airy and has a spectacular view from the balcony across the pool to the sea. It has a TV and stereo for quiet evenings in and was within walking distance of the supermarket, shops and bars. The owners were clearly very thoughtful and had produced a guide with helpful hints on activities in the area, recommendations and directions to good restaurants and which included helpful contact numbers etc. There was also parking and easy acces to the main road into Marbella. I would stay again, definatley.
