Mijas Costa holiday apartment: Mijas Golf

Children: La Hacienda de Mijas golf has two swimming pools, two tennis courts and two playgrounds within the complex. It is only a short drive to the zoo in Fuengerola which is a lovely day out for adults and children alike, it is right beside the Mijas water park. Selwo adventure and Safari park is about a fifty minute drive away. SeaLife in Benalmadena is also a very popular attraction, and from Benalmadena you can take the little tourist train from the port to Benalmadena Selwo Marina, which is a great Aquarium with dolphin shows and is right beside Tivoli worl, which is a large funfair with all kinds of attractions.

Days Out.: There are many great days out from your base at La Hacienda de Mijas Golf. During the winter we drive to the Sierra Nevada Ski Resort, it is just past Granada and takes about ninety minutes. Even if you don't want to ski, it is lovely to walk around the little village of Solynieve in the snow. Granada is a beautiful historic city with the Alhambra, if you wish to visit the Alhambra pre booking is vital. Ronda is a beautiful white village about thirty minutes away, it is very historic, Mias pueblo is a beautiful white village only fifteen minutes drive, we often drive up for lunch. Gibralltar is well worth a visit, it takes about an hour and a half by car. You can take a taxi tour up to the rock which makes all the stops at the various ponts of interest. Many people visit Gibraltar to take advantage of the Duty Free purchases. Passports are required at the border.
