Superbly furnished huge 2 bed luxury ground floor apartment with magnificent terrace - perfect for dining alfresco - adjacent to pool area. The apartment complex is directly fronting a fabulous stretch of blue flag sandy beach and sits alongside the Port of Duquesa which offers a range of bars and restaurants to satisfy all tastes! The complex is virtually alongside the Robert Trent Jones designed La Duquesa Golf Club and has various other courses such as Sotogrande and Valderama a short drive away. With dual carriageway mostly all the way from either Malaga (40 min) or Gibraltar (25 min) the airports are easily accessible. There is a choice from 4 swimming pools, 2 paddle-tennis court/ table tennis with a recently opened gymnasium and sauna complex available to guests. You have 24 hour manned security with a telephone entry system. An underground car parking area is allocated with access via remote control entry. Hot or cold air conditioning is available as well as a built-in safe.

The resort of Puerto de la Duquesa is near the southern most area of Spain and its associated year round warm climate. it is just a 25 minutes drive from Marbella and the luxury harbour area of Puerto Banus and 15 minutes from Estepona. The nearest small town is Sabinillas which is in walking distance and has a more traditional Spanish lifestyle. It has supermarkets, banks and a lively market on Sundays. There are over 50 golf courses in the surrounding area.

Additional Info:: Our apartment is very large, bright and spacious and is very much 'home from home'. Hairdryer, Iron, ironing board are all supplied. There is a 42' lcd tv with sky (which allows for most English chanels in Spain) and a dvd. There is also cd system. We have provided sun beds with luxury cushions for the sole use of our guests which means you do not have to reserve one of the communal sunbeds with a towel, should the need arise!

Having just returned from this lovely appt, I would recommend it to anyone who is seriously thinking of going. The place is extremely spacious, and clean - just like a 2nd home really.

Being so close to the pools are always a bonus, and having your own space and beds to sunbath on, means no fighting at 6am to see who is getting up for the towel run!!

Will be thinking of going again in the near future...

The holiday and the apartment was fantastic. There were six of us that went and we all slept comfortably. What I loved about the apartment (as well as it being clean!!), you could sit on the sun loungers, go for a swim and have your kitchen within reach for food and drinks - I think that is the benefit of it being on the ground floor. The beach is 1 min away from the apartment if you fancy a change from the pool and the marina is 5 mins away which is great for restaurants and bars. And with guaranteed weather you cannot go wrong with this holiday!!

Stunning Apartment! - Great Holiday!

This apartment is just really lovely. Very clean, nicely decorated and very spacious. It has everything that you could want. So homely. The large patio area has the sun practically all day. Very good air conditioning inside. In a great location being near to the pool, beach and port. If you are around the pool area, you are very close to the apartment so it is great to be able to pop in and out the apartment when needed.
The owner, Jean was very efficient and reliable. My family and I were met in Duquesa port when we arrived, by a lovely lady called Isabella who had the keys to the apartment. She showed us to the apartment and answered any questions we might have.This was a nice touch and made you feel very welcome.
There are loads of nice places to eat and drink, all just a short walk away. We had a lovely meal at the 'Jolly Sailor' in the port. The swordfish is great!

I would certainly recommend this apartment to friends and family.

this is a truly amazing apartment, which would cost thousands through up market companies like sandals and james villas. Not just clean but luxurious and sumptuous. Prepare to have all your expectations exceeded ! fabulous location great facilities stunning apartment.
We stayed there in 2005. WE WANTED TO GO TO THE SAME APARTMENT THE FOLLOWING YEAR, but not to our surprise it was taken.
Be quick and relax and enjoy !
