The apartment is perfectly located just a 3 minute walk from a wide sandy beach and pleasure marina at Caleta De Velez with Baviera 18 hole golf course a 5 minute drive away. Right outside the accomodation is a large open air swimming pool and tennis court for the use of guests only. A medium sized resort, Caleta has a number of cafes,bars and restaurants serving good food (especially fish and seafood) all within walking distance. Local shops and a bank are also nearby. Views to the marina can be seen from the balcony which has a table and seating for 4 persons; breakfast in the sunshine! The 3rd floor apartment, bright & secure in a 4 floor building with lift and intercom entry, also has private parking for guests. No busy roads to cross for beach access. Sorry, no pets.

Caleta De Velez is a versatile holiday location on the beach with the Baviera 18 hole golf course only 5 minutes drive away. Enjoy lunch at the marina with the yachts and cruisers bobbing in the sunlight...life here can be simple and relaxing or for those wanting a busier holiday: Torre Del Mar is a 15 walk along the seafront with the wide sandy beach to your left. A wide range of restaurants, bars, nightspots and shops are all found here. The popular resorts of Nerja & Torrox are approx 15 minutes drive from the apartment.

Local facilities

Town facilities including a modern shopping centre, cinemas, street market, hospital and waterpark are located in Velez Malaga - approx 10 minutes drive away. Here you will also find a fine selection of local Spanish shops selling everything from handmade crafts to typical foods and local wines. Vinuela lake and the surrounding mountains is another beautiful site - just a few minutes drive North from Velez. Mountain walking and Go karting are also nearby.

Exploring Andalucia

Caleta De Velez is a central coastal base from which to visit the most popular sights of Andalucia. Granada and the Alhambra Palace are just over an hour away by car, with the Sierra Nevada ski resort a short drive from Granada city centre. Seville can be reached in under 2 hours - well worth the effort! Malaga, with its culture, beaches, port and great shopping facilities, is around 30 minutes drive ( bus service available from Caleta to Malaga city centre ).
