If you want an apartment that is close to everything, this is it, less than 5 minutes walk from the beach, some excellent restaurants, bars etc. 15 min walk to the Marina. No need for a car, although private car parking is available. Public transport , 5 min from the apartment. The apartments are south facing, so enjoys the sun from early morning. A large balcony facing the sea and overlooking the pool. The apartments are on the border between Torremolinos and Benalmadena, and so enjoys the luxury of extensive beaches, and a beautiful promenade stretching for miles. The complex is well managed, beautiful grounds, also while you are guaranteed a good nights sleep, there is also plenty of night life close by.

One of the attractions of the apartment is that the balcony overlooks the pool ,and is facing the sea. Because the apartment is south-facing, it enjoys the sun from early morning, Into the late afternoon. By Spanish standards the complex is small, it is also very private and secure. The complex is within walking distance of all necessary amenities. While you don't need a car, you do have private underground parking facilities.

From a location point of view, you could not be better placed.The Imperial Puerto is a lovely complex close to the Sol Timor and Aloha Puerto hotels, and close to all amenities. There is a supermarket (Lidl) 100 meters from the apartment and the beach with its promenade is only a 200/300 meter walk You do not need a car as the local bus stop is 100 metres away and a 15 min walk brings you to the train station at Pinillo on the Malaga-Fuengirola line. Local attractions: Aqualand Water Park, Selwo Marina with dolphins,sea lions,penguins and parrots, Tivoli world amusement park/cable car are all a short taxi journey and Sea Life Aquarium is a short walk.There is a taxi rank at the Sol Timor hotel.

    All bookings from Sunday to Sunday in the high season. Bookings from Nov to Mar are £250 per week, discounts are offered for bookings in excess of two weeks.

  • 30% booking deposit, remainder 2 month prior to arrival. Prices quoted are for 4 adults, extra adult £50 pw.
    A security deposit of £150 is required, which is refunded within one week, subject to keys being returned and everything being in order

Getting to the apartment: The apartment is approximately 10 miles from Malaga airport. Full directions including a map of the area will be supplied. Because the apartment is so close the airport, the area is well known to taxi drivers, so there is little difficulty in finding it. Also a representative from 'holiday-guide' will meet you at the apartment to fill you in on the local amenities. In the apartment you will also find a comprehensive folder outlining useful information to familiarise you with the area and its amenities.

Entertainment: While the area is a busy holiday resort, it is very suitable for families, in that it is not your 'Ibiza' type area. At the same time there is plenty of quality nightlife entertainment for the young and not so young. There are a number of very good restaurants in the area, to suit all tastes. Most of the restaurants are inexpensive and the quality of the food is excellent. Afterwards you can stroll along the promenade, which is both beautiful and entertaining, stretching all the way from Benalmadena to Torremolinos.

Golf : For the Golf enthusiast there are numerous golf courses, they say you can play golf all the year round, a different golf course each week.

Should you choose to stay in Franks apartments you will not be disappointed.

We stayed there in October 07, a family of 5 with children at the time age 12, 10 and 2.

The apartments are well laid out, and in a great location. The beach is within about 200m and the pool is a good size but TBH in October it was only the children who felt it was warm enough!

In terms of location the local area is a "Little Dublin" with lots of Irish Tourists and bars - apparently it started with lots of Irish folk using the "Sol Aloha Puerto" across the road.

In addition to the close proximity of the beach, other advantages are a "Lidl" about 150m up the road, and should you wish to visit Benalmadena, it is only about 5minutes walk - the main strip through Benalmadena, along with the Sol y Mar square often featured on Costa Del Street Crime are nearby.

Another advantage of location here is that the apartment is within about 15 mins walk to the rail station at El Pinilo, we used the train as there are few taxis that will take 5 people at the Airport.

Finally, Frank and his wife are very friendly and when they are not there they entrust the apartment to their fellow countryman whose name escapes me at the time of writing this review, but who is also very friendly and is available on the phone for any problems.

My then 2 year old is now 4 and she still talks about her holiday at Franks Apartment, it really is good.
