Casa Camaleon is a spacious house, beautifully restored in traditional Andalucian style. There are 2 large bedrooms, both with en-suite bathroom facilities. Each bedroom leads onto a spacious sun terrace. On the ground floor there is a living room, which could easily be a 3rd bedroom and a separate, rustic style kitchen-dining room, with all the facilities you require. The spacious shaded ground floor terrace is ideal for eating “al fresco”. The house sleeps 7 persons. A sun patio with recliners surrounds the floodlit private swimming pool and the outside shower is ideal for cooling down. As the sun begins to set why not round off the day with a BBQ, using the facilities in the garden area.

Casa Camaleon offers 2 family size bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms to the first floor, both leading out onto a terrace with spectacular mountain views. To the ground floor is a living room which can also be a 3rd bedroom, and a kitchen dining room with electric oven, fridge with freezer box, coffee and tea making facilities and a microwave oven. A shaded area to the front of the house offers ample shaded dining areas with a BBQ, sunloungers and deckchairs overlook the pool. There is a poolside shower. A private accommodation situated in a quiet village 'Las Chozas' which is occupied by local families. Camaleon is ideal in that the house can easily be split and offer private quarters for friends/ family sharing a holiday. The nearest villages of Benarmagosa and Triana offer local shops, post office, butchers, bakers and tapas bars. A selection of restaurants are situated by Lake Vinuela and there is a large shopping centre approx. 15 km away.

Las Chozas is situated in rural Spain close to Lake Vinuela. It is a 50 minute drive from Malaga Airport and is close to the resorts of Nerja and Torre del Mar. A track leads you to this tiny village (which is a cluster of about a dozen houses) so the area is tranquil with beautiful and breath-taking views. An ideal location for cyclists, walkers & ramblers, bird watchers, animal and nature lovers. There are historical and interesting places to visit - the Budha Stuppa and the ancient 'Torre'. A 10 minute drive or a good walk! Nearby are golf courses and tennis courts, all water sports, horse riding and go karting. Ideally placed to visit other areas in Andalucia - Cordoba, Seville, Cadiz and Jerez. Tarifa is about 2 hours away and ideal for wind surfers! Gibralter is also approximately 2 hours away. The nearest village is approx. 7 kms which offers bars, shops and restaurants.

Spacious and ideal family accommodation

Set in rural Spain, Casa Camaleon offers spectacular views. You can while away the hours searching for lizards and Cameleons, watching the wild life and relaxing in the peace and quiet. There is easy access to beaches, resorts and towns, further exploring in the mountains and a must is to see Lake Vinuela. In the heat of the summer, cool off in a floodlit pool in the evenings or shade under the terraces in the day. There is a lot to see and do - this area is ideal for walkers, cyclists and explorers. We offer a wonderful base!

The Local Countryside

Situated in the countryside, it is very quiet and peaceful whereby you can enjoy spectacular views and interesting walks. We are 2 kilometres from Lake Vinuela, a 40 minute drive to the 'Parque Natural' and only a 2 hour drive to the sierra nevada.

The local resorts

You have a choice of resorts depending on the type of beach you prefer. Nerja has several little coves, some offer tranquillity with nothing other than an odd bar and other bathers, whilst other beaches provide skiing, boating, restaurants and entertainment. The closest resort is Torre Del Mar, again, you can choose natural or entertaining!
