Casa Clara is a traditional Spanish cottage set in stunning tranquil surroundings. Located in the beautiful Andalusian countryside, it is only 30 minutes from Malaga airport and less than 10 minutes from the town of Alora. This peaceful and very private location is ideal for somewhere to chill out and enjoy the taste of real rural Spain. Walkers, climbers and bird watchers would also love the area.

The nearest town of Alora is built on a hillside with its own Moorish Castle. The town is typically Spanish with a small number of bars and restaurants, a range of shops, banks, supermarkets and a weekly market. It is the gateway to the nearby El Chorro National Park and Ardales Lakes with spectacular scenery, ideal for walkers and climbers. Malaga is a must for those who like to shop or for cultural activities such as the Picasso Museum and beautiful Cathedral. For an exciting day-trip, the city of Granada is only about 2 hours drive away and if you want sea and coast then the Costa del Sol is within easy reach.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The rental price does not include a maid service but this can be provided as an optional extra at a cost of 30 Euros payable locally. The service provides a change of bedding and towels and a mini house clean. Guests staying for more than one week might in particular wish to consider this option.
    We ask for a 10% deposit to secure the booking with the balance payable not less than 6 weeks before departure. Deposits are generally non returnable in the event of cancellation.

Notes: There are 4 proper beds - one being a double bed and the others are 2 singles. We also have a fold away camp bed and a double 'blow up ' bed. This inflates in a few minutes via an electrically operated pump.

Additional Information: Casa Clara is already stocked with cooking basics. There is a small library of books, videos and DVD's . The air conditioning unit is portable and is supplemented with ceiling fans. Bathroom towels are provided but not pool towels. For a small additional charge payable locally, airport transfer can be arranged.

Beautiful character property in very peaceful countryside setting with fantastic views - clean, well kept and well stocked! Breakfast on freshly picked grapes, oranges, figs and almonds from the property's own trees.
