Spacious and tastefully furnished with sofa-bed, rocking chair, dining table for 6. Master bedroom with double, 2nd bedroom with twin beds. Open-plan living area (TV, DVD, CD player, wood burner) and newly equipped kitchen/diner with oven, hob, fridge, cafeteria, toaster, etc. Ceiling fans in all main rooms. Extensive outside space, including dining terrace & further sun terrace with Jacuzzi and shower room. Covered laundry area with washing machine. BBQ, parasols, etc Views from the house & terrace are stunning - unspoilt mountains and olives, with rare bird sightings common. Close to bars, restaurants, shops & community pool yet in a quiet, truly Spanish area. Basic grocery pack provided on arrival. Unlike many properties in the village, it is possible to park right outside for loading/unloading & further parking is available just a few metres away.

Wonderfully located on the edge of the lovely Sierra de Grazalema, with pretty white towns and villages to explore and beautiful countryside all around. The spectacular, historical city of Ronda is just 15 minutes away for sightseeing with Moorish architecture, the breathtaking gorge and numerous restaurants, cafes and museums. A nature-lover's paradise, with great walking, climbing and bird-watching. There is a fantastic range of landscapes within 10 minutes drive of the house - with rolling wheat fields, dramatic limestone escarpments, forests of cork-oaks, even rather Tuscan-looking lines of cypresses leading to stone farmhouses. The vibrant cities of Seville, Granada and Cordoba are all within striking distance and Marbella - great shopping, lovely beaches - is only 55km away. All in all, a great base for either rural escape or city sightseeing.
