We invite you to stay at our family villa which we have owned and loved for 35 years The Villa has magnificent views of both mountains and the sea. It has a large, mature garden of about an acre, full of flowering shrubs and trees, and totally screened from the road to the small town of Frigiliana by eucalyptus and pine trees. The villa has its own private swimming pool (8m x 5m) surrounded by partially shaded terraces with a full range of garden furniture and sunbeds. There is a built-in barbeque and seating away from the pool, on several smaller terraces – some shaded and some for sunbathing. There are 4 large bedrooms sleeping up to 10 (8 adults and 2 children) 3 bathrooms (2 are en-suite) and a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, freezer and washing machine. The small town of Frigiliana is 2 miles away with supermarkets, shops and markets, whilst for a larger selection of restaurants, nightlife and beach side café’s Nerja is just 3 miles away.

Nerja boasts a variety of beaches from tiny quiet ones with few services to Beaches like Burriana with restaurants and watersports. Nerja offers a wide range of cultural musical and theatrical events. Horse riding, cycling, tennis, boules, windsurfing, fishing and sailing are all available locally.

  • The villa is ideal for 8 adults/children but has 10 beds giving flexibility of sleeping arrangements in 4 large bedrooms. The front door and hall are on the upper storey, adjoining the living/dining area, which leads to the main double bedroom (en-suite shower and bathroom), the kitchen and the main terraces and pool. This layout makes it ideal for a couple wishing to 'winter abroad' and initial logs are provided for the fireplace. Downstairs there are 3 more bedrooms. The largest (family bedroom) has a double & 2 single beds with en-suite bathroom - ideal family room. The other double has a basin and French windows to its own terrace and the third is a twin bedded room. There is also a separate bathroom downstairs.

Notes: All rooms are simply furnished with old pine pieces and have terracotta tiled floors. All windows and most exterior doors are fitted with fly-screens and shutters, to keep cool and insect free inside in summer. Outside there is a barbecue area, Garage, Parking, nearly 1 acre mature garden, 7 sun/shaded terraces all totally private. There are generous reductions for long-term stay visitors and smaller parties off-peak - please contact owner for more information. If your group is larger than our villa can hold, or you have friends who would like to stay nearby, then further houses, large and small, can usually be recommended.

Local activities: Nerja boasts a variety of beaches from tiny quiet ones with few services to Beaches like Burriana with restaurants and watersports. Nerja offers a wide range of cultural musical and theatrical events. Horse riding, cycling, tennis, boules, windsurfing, fishing and sailing are all available locally. If you are keen on walking, this is an area which begs to be explored. The whole area abounds with local tracks which lead up into the Sierra mountains. For nature lovers, the National Park, the Sierra de Tejeda is only 10 minutes drive from the villa. Birdwatchers will be in their element – from our garden you can see colourful bee-eaters and up to 40 different species of bird. In the nearby mountains you can see golden eagles, black kites, Bonelli's eagles, peregrine falcons and buzzards. In the wooded areas, it is also possible to catch sight of woodlarks, Bunting, nuthatch, wryneck, woodpeckers, hoopoes, Jays and azul magpies. Herons and kingfishers are common along the riverbanks.
