La Hoya is an idyllic little place. Tucked away in the hills and surrounded by national parkland the views from La Hoya are breath taking . The landscape can be enjoyed from various places in the house, although it must be said that the scenery viewed whilst lounging in the beautifully crafted infinity pool holds a certain unique charm. Holidaying here with multiple friends we found all our needs catered for. The rooms were superb, as were all amenities, and there was something to do for everyone. Besides the fun of the pool there was ping pong and badminton, and for those times when you needed a break from the sun one could pick from a varied book collection to read in the courtyard, beside the fruit trees and nesting swallows. For those not keen on reading there's an extensive video and DVD collection available to dip into. Hiring a car is essential and allows for day trips to beaches and the cute Spanish villages near the house, from here you can pick up supplies and sample some local tapas. Call ahead and you can even get a traditional paella cooked up for you. La Hoya really is the perfect place to holiday, to relax and unwind. Beautifully thought out in every aspect the house is a hidden gem in the hills.
