Our restored Cortijo is situated in a secluded peaceful location on its own hill surrounded by gardens full of exotic colourful flowers, sweet smelling plants and orange and lemon trees. The Cortijo has breathtaking panoramic mountain and countryside views of olive and almond trees all the way around and looks south towards the hilltop village of Comares. The attractive swimming pool sits naturally in the landscape within the garden. We have renovated the farmhouse to a very high standard retaining the features and feeling of this beautiful comfortable home but with all modern facilities. Traditional heavy old doors and wooden shutters, hand made tiled floors and beamed ceilings throughout are part of the unique character and charm of this spacious and special retreat .The interior has been professionally designed with particular attention to detail. Notes to the rental rates

• Single night stays (breakfast included) are available upon request (depending on bookings) and are 80euros per double room and 50euros per single (minimum two nights). This includes use of living room with SKY television and DVD's (double rooms also have television and music centres, dining area, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and the outside terraces and secluded swimming pool. There is a discount for longer rentals (i.e. three weeks plus) and for couples and at certain times of the year for families. If you require further accommodation please speak with the owner as the private part of the Cortijo which is unoccupied during the rental periods may be available.
  Rental rates are inclusive of all services, bed linen and bathroom towels. The winter rates include heating. Activities Available and Travel Information:

Golf, tennis, horse riding in the countryside and along the beach, scuba diving and water sports, sailing on lake Vinuela and the sea, wind surfing, fishing in the lake and the sea, rock climbing, para gliding, trekking and biking, bird watching and painting. In the winter months in the Sierra Nevada Mountains (Granada) there is skiing and equipment can be hired at the resort. Further detailed information is in the guest pack in the house, including suggestions for outings, restaurants and current fiestas. Nearest International Airport: Malaga 45 minutes/Granada 1 hour/Gibraltar 2 hours 30 minutes. Nearest beach: 25 minutes at Torre del Mar. Nearest Lake: 10 minutes.
