Situated within the prestigious Alhaurin Golf Resort, this light airy first floor apartment sleeps 4 in two twin bedded rooms plus there is an extra matress available if required. It has a large separate fully equipped kitchen and a spacious lounge/ dining room leading to a sunny furnished terrace which overlooks the golf course, lake and one of the two swimming pools. The apartment has full air-conditioning, heating and also ceiling fans. It is well appointed with the comfort of the busy holiday maker or weary golfer in mind. A tranquil place to relax and unwind yet all amenities are within easy reach. There is a small supermarket on site, which has all the basics for your holiday. Collection from the airport can be arranged, should you not wish to drive.

Alhaurin Golf Resort, situated in the hills of the Mijas mountains surrounded by pine forests, offers an ideal base for visiting the coastal resorts or discovering inland Spain. Close to the complex you will find tennis, horse riding, quad biking and great walking & hiking routes. There are several good restaurants & ventas in the immediate vicinity including the the Alhaurin Golf Hotel and the Club House which offers good food at reasonable prices. The nearby town of Alhaurin el Grande offers many more, plus shops, bars & discos. A 10 minute drive brings you to the picturesque white village of Mijas with its narrow cobbled streets, flower decked balconies, intriguing shops and a vast choice of bars, restaurants & cafes. A further 10 minutes takes you to the town & beach resort of Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol, alongside other popular resorts such as Marbella & Puerta Banus and, for a full day trip, it is possible to visit Nerja, Granada, Cadiz, Seville, Gibraltar or even Tangier

Notes: We request do not smoke inside the apartment but there is seating and facilities on the terrace accessed from the lounge. The apartment is suitable for the elderly or infirm, and wheelchairs are accessible as there is a lift from the garage and ground floor to outside the door of the apartment. Although the area itself is fairly hilly. There is a wireless internet provider, and a good signal can be received. There is a further 9 hole par 3 course of undeniable beauty and an 18 hole junior course. A golf school provides the utmost in practice facilities to improve your swing. There is also an intensive driving range, plus putting & chipping greens, a pro-shop, changing rooms & buggy hire. The Club House is strategically situated between the tracks of the golf course with spectacular views of the surrounding greens & of the Sierra de Mijas. Here you will find ample and comfortable seating both on the outside terraces or in the elegant restaurant with all day dining and a comfortable lounge and bar. The Costa Sol offers numerous golf courses, 9 of which, including La Cala Golf, Mijas Golf and Lauro Golf are within a 20 minute drive of Alhaurin Golf resort.

This is just the kind of appartment you dont want to review because you are so afraid that other people migt find it to attractive. A little piece of paradise in nice sorroundings, and a bautiful short drive to shopping sights in Malaga og Fuengerola, sightseeing in Mijas, Ronda or Monda. Or a history lesson in Gibraltar.
