Alhaurin Golf Resort:
Pueblo Andaluz located on the stunning Alhaurin Golf course is set in beautiful, tranquil, tropical gardens with a picturesque hills surrounding. It is a truly fabulous place for the independent traveller to explore all that Andalucia has to offer !! Within a couple of hours you can visit the historic cities of Sevilla, Granada and Gibralter. You can even catch a ferry over to North Africa!! Antequerra and the historic town of Ronda also make for an interesting day out.
Nearer to the apartment is the lovely town of Alhaurin el Grande bustling with shops, bars and very good restaurants. There is even a new shopping Mall 'La Trocha' close to the neighbouring town of Coin. 10 minutes by car with take you to the quaint white village of Mijas.
There is lots to do in this region for everyone apart from the huge selection of top class golf courses including water parks, SELWO nature park, a cable car that offers panoramic sea views, aquarium, 4x4 trekking, horse riding, tennis.
SUN AND SNOW - OUT AND ABOUT:
Beach lovers will be pleased to find that a 15 -25 minute drive will take them down to the lovely sandy beaches . For glitz and glamour there are fabulous shops and markets in Marbella and Puerto Banus. For a serious shopping trip try the La Canada Mall. All within a 30 minute drive!!
Ski lovers will be pleased to learn that La Sierra de la Nieves can be reached within 90 minutes so you really can go to the beach and ski an the same day!!
Adventure lovers will enjoy all this area has to offer including 4x4 trekking, horse riding available at the nearby hotel, tennis, mountain biking a great walks are all available locally.
Sun lovers will enjoy the communal pool and just enjoy the peace and quiet and they work hard on their tan!!
With over 320 sunny days per year it is not surprising the Costa del Sol has become Europe's Jewell in the Crown!!

Ski:
It takes about 90 mins to reach the ski resorts from the apartment so you can easily just go for the day!
Golf:
The renowned Alhaurin Golf 18 hole par 72 Golf Course was designed by Seve Ballesteros is a true test of skill and will appeal to all golfers as it offers a beautiful, spectacular and natural course. Watch out for the 6th hole!! There is a further 9 hole par 3 course with undeniably beautiful surroundings, plus an 18 hole junior course.
There is an intensive driving range, plus putting and chipping greens. The golf school has excellent facilities to improve your swing. There is also a Pro shop, changing rooms and buggy hire. The club house has spectacular views of the surrounding greens and the Sierra de Mijas with lots of seating both in and outside on the delightful terraces.
Within 20 minutes are numerous other courses including La Cala Golf, Mijas Golf and Lauro Golf. Not to mention another 40 within an hours drive!! Pre booking is easily arranged
