Golf and Ski-ing:
The apartment is within a short car ride away from the Torrequebrada Golf Club and the course is within walking distance. It is one of the best in the Costa del Sol and where the Spanish open has been played as well as many other top tournaments. The course has glorious views and in part overlooks the sea. The Clubhouse is open to non residents and serves light lunches, snacks, coffee, alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.
The Sierra Nevada Mountains are approximately a two/two half hour journey away and within a couple of hours you could be enjoying skiing, snow boarding or having a ride in a Huski sleigh. The Cable car takes you up to the top of the mountains where you can enjoy a leisurely lunch or drink and still be back in time to sample the last rays of the sun in the Costa del Sol.
ATTRACTIONS WITHIN THE AREA:
The apartment is in an ideal position surrounded by a choice of all types of excellent bars, restaurants and cafes to suit all pockets and very close to supermarkets and a bakery and within easy walking distance to the beach and very close to the Golf course. There is no need of a car as the apartment is opposite a bus stop and taxi rank and within minutes of buses that will take you to all the major towns which are minutes away such as Furengirola, Torremolinos and the beautiful Puerta Marina. Tivoli Theme park, Paloma Park and seaworld are also only minutes away by car as are the two water parks and Benalmadena and the famous 5* Torrequebrada Casino/Hotel can be accessed by foot or transport. There are several excellent markets to visit such as the one up at Tivoli world on a Friday morning and the markets at Furengirola, both of which we highly recommend and can be reached by bus or taxi.
The nightlife of Solymar near the Puerta Marina is only also a few minutes away by car or bus
Transport And Pick up From Malaga Airport.:
There is no need to hire a car as there is an excellent coastal bus stop opposite the apartment which will take you into Benalmadena, Tivoli World and the Marina and much more, it is easy to use and very Cheap. There are also other bus stops within easy walking distance which will take you to the towns of Furengirola, Malaga and Torremolinos and also opposite and next to the coastal bus stop a taxi rank. the train station is also very cheap and efficient and within a few minutes car journey away.
